Urena was added to the Blue Jays' 40-man roster on Friday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet reports.

Urena splitting time between High-A Dunedin and Double-A New Hampshire, combined to hit .295/.335/.434 with eight home runs and 59 RBI. He figures to stay with New Hampshire to begin 2017 since he only spent 30 games there, but he has progressed enough that protecting him from the Rule 5 draft became necessary.

Adames was added to the Rays' 40-man roster Friday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Adames hit .274/.372/.430 with 11 homers and 13 steals in 132 games with Double-A Montgomery in 2016, solidifying his status as the top prospect in the organization. He will presumably advance to Triple-A early on in 2017 with a chance to break through to the majors before the end of the year.

Mondesi is among the candidates vying for the Royals' starting job at second base in 2017, the Kansas City Star reports.

Despite a PED suspension early in 2016 while he was in the minors, Mondesi debuted with the Royals in late July as a 20-year-old and struggled to find regular playing time down the stretch as he hit .185/.231/.281 in 47 games. Prior to his suspension, Mondesi displayed a combination of power and speed that was previously unseen in his profile, and a significant part of his long-term value comes from his defensive ability shortstop, where he's currently blocked by Alcides Escobar. He'll get an opportunity to compete for the job at the keystone in spring training with the likes of Whit Merrifield, Cheslor Cuthbert, and Christian Colon.

Mateo has played some center field in instructs, and could eventually move to that position long term, if needed, the Star-Ledger's Brendan Kuty reports.

He has seen time at shortstop and second base, in addition to center field, so an official position change is not in the works yet, but given the Yankees' internal depth at shortstop and Mateo's speed, he might fit best for the Yankees in center field. This would slightly hurt his value in dynasty leagues, but the development of his hit tool will ultimately be what determines whether or not he is a significant long-term asset.

Correa is out of the lineup Sunday against the Angels.

Correa will give way to Marwin Gonzalez at shortstop for Houston's season finale Sunday afternoon. Correa had a rough time at the plate Saturday, as he went 0-for-5 and struck out twice.

Bogaerts went 1-for-4 with his 21st homer and two strikeouts in Thursday's loss to the Yankees.

Bogaerts now has more home runs in 154 games this season than he did in 318 coming into 2016. The 23-year-old shortstop has already set career highs in counting stats across the board with three games to play. He likely won't appear in all three, though, given that Boston rested five starters in this one.

Wendle is out of the lineup Thursday against the Mariners, Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Wendle will head to the bench with the A's facing lefty Ariel Miranda, as he did the last time the team faced a southpaw. While he continues to lead off against right-handed pitching, Wendle has mostly underwhelmed in the leadoff role with a .324 OBP and .339 SLG from the top spot.

Anderson hit his eighth homer in a 3-for-5 game with two runs scored and three RBI Tuesday against the Rays.

The surprising pop Anderson showed early on in his season had yet to show up in September. This was his first homer of the month, and he entered Tuesday's game with just a .250/.289/.304 line in 23 September games. Anderson hasn't shown much plate discipline, but he still owns a decent .278/.300/.411 line on the season, and if he can maintain this level of power, he'll have a future at shortstop for the White Sox.

Lindor is out of Tuesday's lineup against the Tigers.

This is the game after the Indians celebrated clinching the division, so almost all of the regulars are getting the day off. Erik Gonzalez will start at shortstop and hit ninth Tuesday.

Correa (shoulder) is in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Angels, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

An ill-fated diving attempt at shortstop Friday resulted in an injury to Correa's left shoulder, the same one that cost him time earlier this month, but the 22-year-old won't even miss a start. Correa has posted just a .677 OPS this month, but his second-half line still sits at .290/.371/.451.
