The Marlins placed Weathers on the 15-day injured list Saturday with a left index finger strain.

Weathers' finger caused him to be pulled from his start Friday midway through the third inning. He'll now miss several starts as he heads to the IL, though the team has not yet offered any sort of return timeline for the 24-year-old lefty. Roddery Munoz was recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville in a corresponding move and will start Saturday versus Cleveland, while Max Meyer is a candidate to fill the vacancy in the rotation on a more permanent basis.

Miller (shoulder) tossed four-plus innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out two batters.

Miller made his third minor-league rehab appearance, and he's gradually worked up from three frames in his first rehab outing to four innings Friday. The righty hurler wasn't at his sharpest Friday but he approached a full workload with 85 pitches and sat between 97 and 98 miles per hour with his fastball, per Eric Stephen of SBNation.com. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said prior to Miller's start Friday that it could be the pitcher's final minor-league appearance before returning to the big club, per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic, though a decision on Miller's next step hasn't yet been announced. He's struggled throughout his rehab stint, collecting a 6.97 ERA, 1.74 WHIP and 6:5 K:BB across 10.1 frames.

The Brewers transferred Hall (knee) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Saturday.

Hall's move to the 60-day IL makes him ineligible for activation until June 20, but he wasn't likely to return before that date anyway. The 25-year-old lefty was recommended a platelet-rich plasma injection that would have kept him sidelined until September, per Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, but Hall will instead attempt to pitch through his injury before having his knee re-evaluated during the offseason. His spot on the 40-man roster will go to right-hander Elieser Hernandez, who signed a one-year deal with Milwaukee on Saturday.

Gray (groin) was activated off the 15-day injured list ahead of Saturday's game against the Giants, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Gray landed on the injured list May 23 due to a right groin strain. He started in 10 games prior to the injury, going 2-2 with a 2.21 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 56:17 K:BB over 57 frames. Manager Bruce Bochy said Saturday that there is a good chance Gray pitches in relief before his next start, which will likely be during the Rangers' upcoming road series against the Dodgers, per Kennedi Landry of MLB.com.

Winn (forearm) will return from the 15-day injured list and start Sunday's game against the Rangers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

A right forearm strain has kept Winn sidelined since mid-May, though he made a rehab start in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on Tuesday, giving up one run on two hits and two walks while striking out six batters over 3.2 innings. The 26-year-old righty allowed 17 earned runs in just 8.1 frames across his last three outings before going on the IL, and it's unclear whether or not he'll be working under any limitations during his first start back.

Pirates director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk said Friday that Perez (groin) will likely resume throwing off the slope of a mound this weekend, MLB.com reports.

Perez was placed on the 15-day injured list May 28 with a left groin strain, which he sustained while covering first base on a play during his last start May 26. Tomczyk noted that Perez is pain-free in all of his rehab activities and has been throwing off flat ground without restrictions, so the southpaw looks like he'll soon be able to move on to the next phase of his rehab by throwing a bullpen session. Perez is without a defined target date for a return from the IL, but he's likely at least a week away from being activated.

Lodolo (6-2) picked up the win Friday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over six innings in a 3-2 victory over the Cubs. He struck out seven.

The left-hander delivered his second straight quality start and fourth of the season on 99 pitches (61 strikes), and the only real mistake Lodolo made resulted in a Dansby Swanson solo shot in the sixth inning. The seven Ks were the most Lodolo has managed in three starts since returning from a groin strain, but he's won all three of those outings with a 2.08 ERA and 1.10 WHIP. He'll look to keep rolling in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come at home next week against the Guardians.

Steele (0-3) took the loss Friday, giving up three runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings as the Cubs were downed 3-2 by the Reds. He struck out seven.

The southpaw pitched well in his second quality start of the season, generating 30 called or swinging strikes among his 90 pitches, but a lack of run support kept him out of the win column once again. Steele appears to be rounding into form after missing all of April with a hamstring strain, and over his last three starts he sports a 1.89 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB through 19 innings. He'll look for that first victory of 2024 in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Tampa Bay.

Poteet came away with a no-decision in Friday's 2-1 extra-innings loss to the Dodgers, allowing two hits and three walks over 4.2 scoreless innings. He struck out one.

The 29-year-old right-hander kept a dangerous offense off the board, but he needed 84 pitches (50 strikes) to record only 14 outs, and the Yankees' bullpen eventually faltered in the 11th inning. Poteet has a 1.72 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 11:4 K:BB through 15.2 innings over his three big-league starts this season, but with Gerrit Cole (elbow) set to make his second rehab start Sunday, Poteet's time in the New York rotation is running short. He should make at least one more start, which lines up to come on the road next week in Kansas City.

Yamamoto came away with a no-decision in Friday's 2-1 extra-innings win over the Yankees, allowing two hits and two walks over seven scoreless innings. He struck out seven.

The 25-year-old right-hander was brilliant in his longest scoreless outing in MLB so far, generating 33 called or swinging strikes among his season-high 106 pitches, but neither offense was able to put runs on the board until the 11th inning. Yamamoto will take a 3.00 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 83:16 K:BB through 72 innings into his next start, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Royals.
