Mike Soroka SP | ARI
Braves' Mike Soroka: Rehab schedule outlined
Soroka (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session Sunday or Monday and will make a minor-league rehab start later this week, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Soroka hasn't pitched since May 12 due to a right shoulder strain, but it appears he'll be able to wrap up his disabled list stint soon and rejoin the Braves' rotation. Barring any setbacks, Soroka is on schedule to be activated from the DL during the first week of June if he requires just one rehab appearance.

Max Fried SP | NYY
Braves' Max Fried: Tabbed for Monday's start
Fried will be recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett to start Game 1 of Monday's doubleheader against the Mets, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Fried will take the mound for Game 1 with Brandon McCarthy set to handle the nightcap. Fried posted a 3.81 ERA over 26 innings (including four starts) last season and made four relief appearances for the Braves earlier this season, allowing four runs in six innings. The 24-year-old currently owns a 3.80 ERA over 21.1 innings with Gwinnett.

Adrian Houser SP | SF
Brewers' Adrian Houser: Optioned back to minors
Houser was optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Sunday.
Hauser's time in the big leagues was short-lived, as the reliever will return to Triple-A after just two days in the majors. The 25-year-old threw two scoreless innings with three strikeouts in Saturday's win over the Mets. He'll likely shuttle between the minors and majors at numerous times moving forward.

Alex Wood RP | ATH
Dodgers' Alex Wood: Hit hard by Padres on Saturday
Wood didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Padres, coughing up five runs on six hits -- including three home runs -- and a walk over 5.1 innings while striking out seven.
The left-hander threw 52 of 79 pitches for strikes and started off 17 of 22 batters with first-pitch strikes, but Wood wasn't as sharp within the strike zone as usual -- the three homers allowed matched his total from his previous seven starts combined. Things may not get any better for him in his next outing, however, as he carries a 3.75 ERA into Coors Field on Friday.

Jordan Lyles RP | KC
Padres' Jordan Lyles: Early exit in Saturday's no-decision
Lyles didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Dodgers, allowing five runs on seven hits and four walks over 4.2 innings while striking out four.
The right-hander threw 55 of 89 pitches and got tagged for two home runs for the second straight start, but the Padres responded with four homers of their own to take Lyles off the hook for the loss. He'll carry a 3.83 ERA into his next outing Thursday at home against the Marlins.
-
Tyler Anderson SP | LAA
Rockies' Tyler Anderson: Posts quality start in Saturday's no-decision
Anderson didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Reds, allowing three runs on six hits and three walks over six innings while striking out two.
The left-hander threw 63 of 101 pitches for strikes and left the game with a 4-3 lead, but the Rockies' bullpen quickly coughed up three runs in the seventh to deny Anderson his fourth win of the season. He'll carry a 4.72 ERA into his next outing Friday at home against the Dodgers.

Tyler Mahle SP | ATL
Reds' Tyler Mahle: Shaky control in Saturday's no-decision
Mahle didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Rockies, allowing four runs on six hits and four walks over five innings while striking out four.
The right-hander threw 58 of 102 pitches for strikes while tying his season high in free passes. Mahle has had a tough May, delivering only one quality start in five outings with a 5.33 ERA and 18:11 K:BB through 25.1 innings, but he'll get a chance to begin June on a much better note in Friday's road start against the Padres.

Jose Quintana SP | COL
Cubs' Jose Quintana: Takes step back
Quintana (5-4) allowed four earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out six across 4.1 innings to take the loss Saturday against the Giants.
Quintana looked to be headed for his second consecutive strong outing but stumbled badly in the fourth and fifth innings. He first allowed a two-run homer to left-hander Brandon Crawford and then allowed back-to-back doubles prior to being lifted in the fifth inning. The outing continued his struggles at home this season, as three of his four starts in which he has surrendered four or more earned runs have come at home.

Yu Darvish SP | SD
Cubs' Yu Darvish: Sent for MRI
Darvish (triceps) will be sent for an MRI on Tuesday, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.
Manager Joe Maddon said he's not overly concerned after talking to Darvish, saying the problem "didn't sound awful." Darvish landed on the disabled list Saturday with right triceps tendinitis, which carries with it a pretty wide open timetable. He could theoretically return June 2 on the road against the Mets, but a more reliable timetable should be forthcoming when the MRI results are revealed.

Trevor Williams RP | TEX
Pirates' Trevor Williams: Only lasts four innings
Williams (5-3) gave up four runs on seven hits and zero walks while striking out three in four innings Saturday, taking the loss against the Cardinals.
He only threw 65 pitches in this one, so it was his shortest start of the year by any measure. Prior to this outing, Williams' shortest start by innings was a five-inning start on May 9, and his shortest start by pitches was an 85-pitch outing on April 1. He'll look to get back on track Thursday in St. Louis.
