Rogers (3-2) allowed three runs on four hits and three walks while striking out six in five innings to take the loss against the Nationals on Sunday.

Rogers had put together scoreless outings in each of his last two starts and began Sunday's appearance by tossing two scoreless innings. However, he gave up a three-run homer to Ryan Zimmerman in the bottom of the third inning, which put Rogers in line for his first loss since April 5. The southpaw has now posted a 1.91 ERA and 1.06 WHIP in 33 innings across his first six starts of the year. Rogers tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Brewers on Friday.

Kelly allowed two earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six across 5.2 innings Sunday in the win over the Rockies. He did not factor in the decision.

Kelly's only runs allowed came via a two-run home run by Trevor Story in the third inning. That was enough to prevent Kelly from taking the win, but he still had a solid performance. The 32-year-old has been much better in his last three starts (six runs allowed in 16.2 innings) than in his first three starts (15 runs allowed in 16 innings).

Martinez (2-4) allowed five hits and two walks while striking out three in eight scoreless innings to earn the win against the Pirates on Sunday.

Martinez earned his first win of the season Tuesday, and he put together another dominant performance against Pittsburgh on Sunday. The right-hander allowed baserunners in each of the first six innings, but he limited the damage en route to his first scoreless outing of the year. Martinez has now posted a 3.72 ERA and 1.02 WHIP in 36.1 innings across his first six starts of 2021. He tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Rockies on Friday.

Mahle allowed six runs on nine hits over five innings in Sunday's win over the Cubs. He struck out five and did not factor in the decision.

In a game during which the Cubs and Reds combined for 10 home runs, Mahle allowed three of them, including a pair of solo shots to Kris Bryant. It was the first time he's allowed more than two runs in any outing this season. His ERA jumped to 3.23 alongside a 41:11 K:BB. Mahle is expected to start in Cleveland next weekend.

Anderson (2-1) allowed four runs on six hits and two walks over four innings Sunday, striking out five and taking the loss against Toronto.

Anderson really never got into a groove Sunday as he allowed runs in each of the second, third and fourth innings. It was his shortest outing of the year and first time allowing a run since April 15. The 23-year-old righty is now sporting a 3.27 ERA and 36:14 K:BB. He's expected to face the Phillies at home next weekend.

Williams allowed six runs on six hits and four walks across 2.2 innings and did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Reds. He struck out two.

Williams probably deserved his third loss of the season, but the Cubs rallied from an early deficit to tie the game before falling 13-12 in 10 innings, so the righty escaped the decision. It was still the worst outing of the year so far for Williams, who was tagged for three home runs, and it pushed his ERA up to 6.00 through six starts. He'll look to get back on track his next time out Saturday against the Pirates.

Urias (4-0) earned the win Sunday versus the Brewers with seven innings of one-run ball. He allowed four hits and struck out 10.

Urias was strong on his own, but the Dodgers' bats flexed some muscle with a season-high 16 runs in the game. The quality start saw Urias lower his ERA to 2.87 with a 0.90 WHIP and 42:6 K:BB across 37.2 innings this season. The southpaw will look to carry his recent strong pitching into next weekend's road matchup with the Angels.

Fried (hamstring) will return from the injured list and start Wednesday against the Nationals, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

The 27-year-old completed a live batting practice session with no issues last Thursday and will make his first start in just over three weeks Wednesday. Fried surrendered 14 runs over 11 innings through his first three starts of the season before landing on the injured list with the hamstring strain.

Lauer is listed as the Brewers' probable starter for Tuesday's game in Philadelphia, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Heading into the upcoming week, Milwaukee remains without two members of its Opening Day rotation (Corbin Burnes and Brett Anderson), while two of the team's top options for spot starts in Josh Lindblom (knee) and Zack Godley (finger) are also on the injured list. As a result, Lauer will pick up a second start after he held his own in his season debut Thursday against the Dodgers, when he picked up the win while working five scoreless frames. He'll tentatively line up for a two-start week, with his second turn likely to come next Sunday in Miami if none of Burnes (COVID-19 IL), Anderson (hamstring), Lindblom or Godley is activated before the weekend.

Velasquez will start Monday's game versus the Brewers, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

The 28-year-old will receive another turn through the starting rotation while Matt Moore is eased back into action as a reliever following his stint on the COVID-19 injured list. Velasquez has surrendered five runs on 10 hits with a 9:3 K:BB over 8.1 innings across two starts, so he may need a strong performance Monday to have a chance of earning a longer look in the rotation.
