DeGrom (shoulder) confirmed after playing catch Sunday that he'll be ready to start one game of Monday's doubleheader with the Nationals, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Despite exiting his second straight start early due to an injury, deGrom's sore right shoulder checked out fine following a full bullpen session Saturday and a round of catch Sunday. The 33-year-old's durability is starting to become more of a concern, but he's left little doubt that he's the game's best pitcher when he's healthy enough to pitch. He'll carry an incredible 0.54 ERA and 0.51 WHIP into his 12th start of the season Monday.

Buehler (7-0) earned the win over Arizona on Saturday, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks while striking out 11 over 7.1 innings.

The right-hander made it through 7.1 frames without allowing a hit before David Peralta led off the eighth inning with a single. Buehler was pulled two batters later after a Nick Ahmed single, and he was charged with a pair of runs after both runners came around to score following his departure. Though Buehler's fantastic outing won't enter the no-hit annals, he tied the Dodgers' franchise record with his 23rd straight start without being charged with a loss. He'll carry a 7-0 record, 2.38 ERA and 88:19 K:BB into his next start, which lines up to come at home against the Cubs next week.

Manager Bud Black said the forearm tightness that forced Gomber to leave his Saturday start against the Brewers showed up more in the thick of the muscle as opposed to closer to the joint, which the club considers a good sign as of now, Nick Groke of The Athletic reports.

The Rockies will continue to evaluate the left-hander, but it sounds like the team is optimistic that he's avoided the worst-case scenario based on Black's initial update. Gomber can be considered questionable to make his start in Milwaukee next weekend, with further updates likely to come on the 27-year-old in the coming days.

Houser allowed five runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out two in six innings in a no-decision versus Colorado on Saturday.

The right-hander's run of allowing two or fewer runs ended at four starts, but he was able to complete six innings for the first time since May 8. Houser was spared from the loss when Willy Adames hit a go-ahead two-run home run in the ninth inning. Houser has a 3.95 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 56:28 K:BB across 70.2 innings this season. He'll remain at 4-5 heading into his next start, tentatively set as a rematch versus Colorado.

Lopez (3-4) picked up the win Saturday against the Cubs, allowing just one hit while striking out seven in seven scoreless innings. He did not issue a walk.

Lopez was coming off arguably his worst outing of the campaign, in which he allowed four runs to the Braves in just three innings. He bounced back in a big way at Wrigley Field on Saturday, with a second-inning single by Eric Sogard the only thing preventing him from having a no-hit bid late in the contest. Lopez has now worked at least six frames in eight of his 15 outings and he'll bring a tidy 2.86 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 85:21 K:BB into his start against the Nationals next weekend.

Gutierrez allowed five runs on eight hits and four walks with four strikeouts in five innings versus San Diego on Saturday. He did not factor in the decision.

Gutierrez had his worst start of the season, giving up high marks in runs, hits and walks. He allowed a two-run home run to Jake Cronenworth in the third inning and a three-run double to Manny Machado in the fourth. The right-hander has been solid with a 3.86 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 23:14 K:BB across 28 innings in his rookie season. He'll draw a tough home start versus Atlanta next week.

Gomber exited Saturday's start against the Brewers as a precautionary measure due to left forearm tightness.

The reason for Gomber's early departure was initially a mystery. The southpaw allowed two runs on four hits during two innings before exiting. He'll be further evaluated before Colorado determines if he'll be able to make his start.

Wood didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 13-6 loss to the Phillies, surrendering six runs (four earned) on six hits and two walks over three innings. He struck out four.

The veteran southpaw tossed only 44 of 75 pitches for strikes before exiting, but the Giants did all their scoring in the first third of the game to allow Wood to avoid a loss. He'll carry a 4.09 ERA and 65:21 K:BB through 66 innings into his next outing.

Gomber left Saturday's start against the Brewers after just two innings for an undisclosed reason, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. He allowed two runs on four hits before departing.

No details have been revealed at this point explaining why Gomber left early, though Colorado will likely provide an update by the end of the night Saturday. Gomber entered Saturday with a solid 3.54 ERA and 1.05 WHIP, so the Rockies will certainly be crossing their fingers that the issue is minor.

Nola didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 13-6 win over the Giants, coughing up six runs on six hits and three walks over 2.1 innings. He struck out only one.

Mike Yastrzemski and Brandon Belt both took Nola deep in the worst outing of the year for the right-hander, but the Phillies' offense did more than enough damage to get him off the hook. Nola will carry a 4.22 ERA and 95:21 K:BB through 85.1 innings into his next start.
