Rutledge (shoulder) has resumed a rehab program at the Nationals' spring training facility in Florida after being placed on the 7-day injured list at High-A Wilmington on June 2, Maria Torres of The Athletic reports.

The Nationals aren't viewing Rutledge's right shoulder injury as a major concern, but because the 22-year-old is one of the more prized pitching prospects in the organization, he'll be brought along slowly in his recovery. Rutledge made four starts for Wilmington before landing on the shelf, posting a 12.66 ERA and 2.55 WHIP across 10.2 innings.

Walker (6-3) allowed four runs on 10 hits and no walks while striking out five in 6.1 innings to take the loss against the Nationals on Sunday.

Walker had earned wins in each of his last two outings and struck out 21 batters in 14 innings during that time, but he was unable to keep his success going Sunday. He gave up three home runs to Kyle Schwarber prior to his removal, and the right-hander has now posted a 2.42 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in 74.1 innings across 13 starts this year. Walker tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Phillies on Saturday.

Gonsolin dealt with shoulder soreness after his last start and therefore wasn't pushed in Sunday's start against the Diamondbacks, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Gonsolin allowed one run on three hits and no walks while striking out two in 3.2 innings Sunday but didn't factor into the decision. Manager Dave Roberts said after the game that he wanted to limit the right-hander's workload since he displayed decreased velocity due to his shoulder soreness Sunday. Roberts said that the team has been managing the issue, and Gonsolin tentatively lines up to start at home against the Cubs on Friday if he's healthy enough to pitch.

Toussaint (shoulder) shifted his rehab assignment to Double-A Mississippi on Sunday, covering 3.2 innings while giving up two runs on one hit and two walks and striking out four.

The right-hander, who turned 25 years old Sunday, was making his second rehab appearance after having previously tossed three innings for High-A Rome on Tuesday. Toussaint built his pitch count up to 53 on Sunday, but Atlanta will likely want to see him reach the 75-to-100 range before he's viewed as a viable option for the big-league rotation. Atlanta may not have a spot on the active roster available for Toussaint once he's deemed ready to return from the 60-day injured list, so he could end up filling a starting role at Triple-A Gwinnett.

Cabrera (biceps) made his most recent rehab appearance at Double-A Pensacola on Saturday, covering 4.1 innings while striking out seven and giving up one run on two hits and one walk.

Cabrera was making the third appearance of his rehab assignment and his first with Pensacola after having made his prior two starts at Low-A Jupiter. Considering Cabrera built up his pitch count to 67 on Saturday, he could be ready to slot back into the Triple-A Jacksonville rotation during the upcoming week.

Atlanta manager Brian Snitker confirmed that Muller will be called up from Triple-A Gwinnett to start one game of Monday's doubleheader with the Mets, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Ian Anderson will start the other doubleheader game, but Atlanta has yet to decide whether Anderson or Muller will get the ball for the first contest. Muller made his MLB debut last week against Boston in a relief role, giving up two runs on four hits over an inning of relief. He's fared better over his seven starts with Gwinnett, compiling a 4.90 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and a 41:19 K:BB in 31.1 innings.

Brubaker (4-6) was tagged with the loss Sunday against Cleveland despite allowing two runs on three hits across 6.2 innings, striking out nine.

Brubaker was a victim of poor run support, as the Pirates mustered just one run and six hits. As a result, he picked up his sixth loss of the campaign despite finishing with a season-high mark in strikeouts. The right-hander owns a 3.77 ERA across 71.2 innings on the season and is scheduled to take the ball again next week at St. Louis.

The Rockies placed Gomber (forearm) on the 10-day injured list Sunday.

Colorado is still classifying the injury that forced Gomber out of Saturday's game against the Brewers as right forearm tightness, but it's possible he'll be sent in for an MRI as the Rockies look to assess whether he's dealing with a strain. In any case, Gomber will be on the shelf for at least the new week and a half. The timing of the injury is unfortunate for Gomber, who had emerged as the Rockies' most reliable starter over the past five weeks. Before he exited Saturday's outing after two innings, Gomber posted a 1.28 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and 8.7 K/9 over his preceding seven starts.

Mets manager Luis Rojas said Lucchesi (elbow) will undergo an MRI on Monday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Lucchesi was moved to the injured list Saturday with what was believed to be a minor case of left elbow inflammation, but the Mets apparently have a higher degree of concern about his health one day later. The MRI should provide clarity about whether Lucchesi is dealing with anything more than elbow inflammation, and a potential timeline for his return will likely emerge once those test results are available. The Mets haven't appointed a replacement in the rotation for Lucchesi and could opt to lean on their cadre of long-relief arms to fill innings when the team requires a fifth starter.

The Mets selected Eickhoff's contract from Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

New York designated outfielder Mason Williams for assignment to clear room for Eickhoff on the 40-man roster and 26-man active roster. According to Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record, Eickhoff will be available out of the bullpen for Sunday's series finale in Washington, and if he ends up going unused, he'll be a candidate to start one half of Monday's doubleheader with Atlanta. The 31-year-old right-hander hasn't been overly impressive through eight starts at Syracuse this season, posting a 5.52 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 8.4 K/9 across 44 innings.
