Soroka felt a pop in his right Achilles while walking to the clubhouse Thursday, and an MRI revealed that he will miss the rest of the current campaign. The right-hander underwent surgery on his Achilles tendon in late May, but he had resumed throwing exercises before aggravating the injury. A timetable for Soroka's return will be established after he undergoes surgery next week, but he could be sidelined until July of 2022, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
