Corbin (7-13) gave up six runs on four hits and a pair of walks over three innings in Thursday's loss to Miami. He registered three strikeouts.

Miami got to Corbin early and often in this one, tagging the veteran hurler for four runs in the first inning and two more in the second. Corbin was victimized by the long ball, giving up a three-run shot to Jorge Alfaro and a two-run blast to Miguel Rojas. Corbin has won just once in his last eight starts and has given up four-plus runs in all but one of those outings. He'll take a bloated 6.09 ERA and 1.40 WHIP into his next scheduled start.

Keller (4-10) did not factor into the decision in a win over the Cardinals on Thursday, pitching 5.1 innings while allowing seven runs on six hits with three walks and two strikeouts.

The right-hander struggled out of the gate and surrendered seven runs across his first three innings, but he was able to settle in to provide some length for the Pirates. After allowing no runs to the Cardinals in his previous start, Keller struggled against Thursday, throwing only 51 of his 90 pitches for strikes. The 25-year-old will carry a 6.75 ERA into his next start, tentatively scheduled against the White Sox on the road next week.

Carrasco allowed two runs on three hits with five strikeouts in seven innings against the Giants on Thursday. He did not factor into the decision.

Carrasco turned in the longest of his six starts this season, limiting San Francisco to a two-run homer from Kris Bryant in the first inning. Carrasco stymied the Giants the rest of the way in what was easily his most effective start since coming off the IL in late July. Thursday's outing lowered Carrasco's ERA from 8.82 to 6.94, although the 34-year-old is still searching for his first win as a Met.

Mikolas (0-1) did not factor into the decision in a loss to the Pirates on Thursday, pitching 4.1 innings and allowing three runs on eight hits with one walk and three strikeouts.

In what was only his third start of the season, Mikolas allowed a season-high eight hits Thursday, one of which was a home run from Colin Moran. The right-hander threw 76 pitches in the contest before being removed in the fifth after throwing 84 in his previous start, likely meaning he won't be on any sort of pitch count going forward. Mikolas is tentatively scheduled to take the mound next week against Cincinnati.

Wood yielded two runs on six hits and a pair of walks over 5.1 innings Thursday against the Mets. He struck out five and did not factor into the decision.

Wood held the Mets off the board through five innings before running into trouble in the sixth. After fanning Francisco Lindor to open the frame, Wood gave up a double to Javier Baez and a two-run homer to Pete Alonso before giving way to the bullpen in a 2-2 tie. Wood has just one win over his last six starts, but he's held his opponents to two runs or fewer in each of his last three outings. He'll take a 10-4 record, 4.11 ERA and 1.22 WHIP into his next scheduled start.

Syndergaard (elbow) threw one inning in his first rehab appearance with High-A Brooklyn on Thursday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

Syndergaard began his rehab assignment Thursday after ramping up with a few live batting practice sessions earlier in the month. He managed to throw 16 pitches, 12 of which went for strikes. Syndergaard also allowed a leadoff home run, but overall the appearance seemed to be a success. He'll likely make at least a few more outings during the rehab stint before being activated, and it still appears as though the Mets plan to bring him back as a a reliever for the closing stretch of 2021.

Darvish (back) was officially activated from the injured list before his start Thursday against the Dodgers .

Darvish was previously named the starter for Thursday's contest, and he's now officially back on the big-league rotser. He struggled for a six-outing span prior to hitting the injured list with lower-back tightness Aug. 15, posting a 7.36 ERA and 1.30 WHIP across 29.1 innings. Presumably healthier after the brief absence, Darvish will now attempt to rebound from the rough stretch.

Kim will start Sunday's game against the Pirates, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Kim made a relief appearance Tuesday and allowed no hits and two walks while striking out two in 2.2 innings against the Tigers. He'll pitch on normal rest during Sunday's series finale in Pittsburgh after Jack Flaherty (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday.

Eflin won't start Thursday's game against the Diamondbacks after he experienced recurring discomfort in his right knee while warming up, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

After missing more than five weeks with right patella tendinitis, Eflin was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Thursday, only to experience a setback less than two hours after being activated. The Phillies haven't indicated whether the issue is significant enough to send Eflin back to the IL, but more information on that front should be available within the next few days. Matt Moore, who had been expected to move to the bullpen, will instead pick up another spot start Thursday with Eflin unavailable.

The Phillies designated Anderson for assignment Thursday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

The well-traveled right-hander will cede his spot on the active roster to Zach Eflin (kneecap), who was reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start Thursday versus the Diamondbacks. Whether working out of the rotation or as a long reliever for Philadelphia, Anderson found little success. Over 48 innings Anderson posted a 6.75 ERA (5.85 FIP) and 1.48 WHIP.
