Strider (4-2) earned the win Saturday, allowing one run on one hit and one walk over six innings against the Reds. He struck out 11.

Strider's rookie breakout continued with his second double-digit strikeout game of the season and arguably his best overall performance to date in the big leagues. He induced a whopping 24 swinging strikes on 93 pitches, and Cincinnati was only able to scratch a run across after a hit-by-pitch, a wild pitch and a single. Strider had a recent bump in the road against San Francisco (six earned runs in 3.2 innings), but he's flashing frontline starter potential.

Webb (7-3) took the loss during Saturday's 5-3 defeat at the hands of the White Sox, allowing five runs (three earned) on six hits and a walk with five strikeouts in six innings.

Webb began Saturday's start with three perfect innings but encountered trouble in the fourth and sixth, when he surrendered all but one of his baserunners and all five runs scored with the help of two errors. The 25-year-old fired 67 of 101 pitches for strikes with 14 of the swinging variety and is averaging over 103 pitches with 8.5 K/9 across his last five starts compared to just over 90 pitches and 7.6 K/9 in his first 11 turns. Webb is set to face off against San Diego in his next start, projected for midweek.

May (elbow) is close to going on a rehab assignment, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

According to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, May has thrown "three or four" live batting-practice sessions and is "really close" to starting a minor-league rehab assignment. The right-hander underwent Tommy John surgery last May, so he's within the range of a typical return timeframe following the procedure. Roberts suggested that May would need multiple weeks to build back up once he begins the rehab assignment.

Feltner is "most likely" to start Wednesday at Dodger Stadium in place of Antonio Senzatela (shoulder), Nick Groke of The Athletic reports.

Ashton Goudeau took Senzatela's spot on the roster for the time being, but it sounds like the Rockies will make room for Feltner on Wednesday. While Feltner has mostly struggled with the major-league team this year, he's been able to navigate the harsh conditions of the Pacific Coast League pretty well (3.76 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, four homers allowed in 38.1 innings with Triple-A Albuquerque).

Senzatela was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday with right shoulder inflammation, Nick Groke of The Athletic reports.

While an MRI showed no major issues with Senzatela's shoulder, he will still be forced to miss a couple starts at a minimum after exiting Friday's game. Senzatela will be eligible to return for the Rockies' final game before the All-Star break. Ashton Goudeau took Senzatela's place on the roster, but Ryan Feltner is reportedly the "most likely" to start Wednesday at Dodger Stadium.

Ashby (1-6) took the loss during Saturday's 7-4 defeat at the hands of the Pirates, allowing four runs on five hits and one walk with six strikeouts in 3.2 innings.

Making his return from a two-week stint on the IL due to a forearm injury, Ashby navigated the first two frames unscathed but encountered trouble in the third when he surrendered three runs and was chased by an Oneil Cruz home run the following inning. Despite the abbreviated start, the 24-year-old still struck out six batters and recorded an impressive eight swinging strikes on only 62 pitches. Ashby carries a mediocre 4.60 ERA into a rematch with Pittsburgh slated for next weekend.

Marquez (thumb) threw a bullpen session Saturday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Marquez exited Wednesday's game against the Dodgers due to a cut on his right thumb, but he said following Saturday's throwing session that the issue is fine. The Rockies haven't officially indicated whether the right-hander will be able to make his next turn through the rotation, but he tentatively lines up to start on the road against the Dodgers if he's cleared to pitch.

Smyly (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment at High-A South Bend on Monday, Tim Stebbins of NBC Sports Chicago reports.

Smyly progressed to facing live hitters Tuesday, and he threw a successful bullpen session Friday. The southpaw will may require multiple appearances in the minors prior to rejoining the Cubs, but his rehab assignment should be the final step in his recovery process.

Senzatela (shoulder) underwent an MRI on Saturday that came back clean, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Senzatela was removed from Friday's game against the Diamondbacks due to right shoulder inflammation and tightness, but his injury doesn't appear to be a significant concern. Whether he misses additional time remains to be seen, but the right-hander tested his arm ahead of Saturday's game against Arizona.

Stroman (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Iowa on Sunday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Stroman has been throwing consistently over the last week, and he reached 40 pitches during a bullpen session last Saturday before throwing 36 pitches in a live batting practice session Tuesday. The right-hander threw another bullpen Friday and has now been cleared to return to game action with the Triple-A club. It's not yet clear how many rehab starts he'll require, but he's closing in on a return.
