Fried (10-4) allowed four runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk while striking out five in six innings, taking the loss in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Mets.

Fried gave up three runs in the third inning and another in the sixth. Two of Atlanta's three errors in this contest led to runs, allowing Fried to log his fourth straight quality start. The southpaw has maintained a 2.60 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 127:25 K:BB in 138.1 innings across 22 outings this year. He'll look to avoid going a season-worst four starts without a win in his next turn, tentatively projected to be a road start in Miami next weekend.

Suarez (8-5) gave up three earned runs over 5.1 innings and picked up the win in Saturday's victory over the Nationals. He allowed seven hits, struck out five batters and walked two.

Suarez was not as sharp as he was over his previous three outings -- over which he did not allow an earned run over 16.0 innings -- but he still picked up his eighth win of the season and fourth over his last seven starts. His next start will likely come against the streaking Mets, a team he has not faced since April 11 in his first outing of the campaign.

Corbin (4-16) gave up six earned runs over 0.2 innings and took the loss Saturday as the Nationals fell to the Phillies. He allowed five hits, did not strike out a batter and walked two.

Corbin failed to make it out of the first inning for the second time in three starts, and his latest rough outing pushed his ERA to an unsightly 7.02. Provided he remains on regular rest, Corbin's next start will come at home against the Padres.

Heaney didn't factor into the decision during Saturday's 8-3 win against the Padres, allowing three unearned runs on four hits and one walk with three strikeouts in 4.2 innings.

Making his third start since returning from a shoulder injury, Heaney permitted a single baserunner through three frames before surrendering three unearned runs on three hits in the fourth following a Gavin Lux error. Heaney has allowed only a single earned run in 12.2 innings since his return, but he hasn't received a win as Los Angeles has eased him back into the rotation with no more than 81 pitches and 4.2 innings in any outing. The 31-year-old has allowed seven runs (two earned) in 28 innings across six starts this season, and he lines up to pitch again next weekend in Kansas City.

Clevinger (3-4) took the loss during Saturday's 8-3 defeat at the hands of the Dodgers, allowing five runs on seven hits and one walk with three strikeouts in 4.2 innings.

Clevinger fired a clean first inning before running into trouble thereafter, surrendering single runs in the second and third and a Max Muncy three-run home run in the fifth to fall in line for the loss. The rough outing snapped a three-start streak of allowing two runs or fewer while the three strikeouts constitute his lowest total over his last seven outings. Clevinger carries a 3.60 ERA and 1.12 WHIP into his next start, scheduled to come next weekend in Washington.

Brubaker (2-10) gave up three earned runs over four innings and took the loss Saturday as the Pirates fell to the Orioles. He allowed eight hits, struck out six and walked two.

Brubaker's ERA sat at 3.96 as recently as July 30, but after giving up 10 earned runs in 8.1 innings over his last two outings, his ERA has spiked up to 4.49. He will attempt to get back on track next week out west, either against the Diamondbacks on regular rest or against the Giants if he is pushed back at all.

The Reds will recall Dunn from Triple-A Louisville on Monday to start their series opener against the Mets in New York, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

After a long stint on the injured list to begin the season while recovering from a shoulder injury, Dunn was activated July 24 and optioned to Triple-A following a six-start rehab assignment. Dunn wasn't particularly sharp during his rehab stint, but he did post a respectable 3.75 ERA over 11 big-league starts last season with Seattle. Over his seven outings at Triple-A spanning 26 innings, Dunn has compiled a 6.92 ERA, 1.81 WHIP and 23:16 K:BB.

Kelly registered a no-decision during Saturday's 3-2 loss to Colorado, allowing two runs on seven hits and one walk with five strikeouts in seven-plus innings.

Kelly fired six scoreless frames before surrendering a run on two hits in the seventh. He also allowed a solo home run and a single in the eighth before being pulled. The 33-year-old fired an impressive 70 of 93 pitches for strikes with 11 whiffs and has now permitted two runs or fewer in seven straight starts while completing at least six innings in each outing. Kelly's 2.86 ERA ranks 13th in MLB while his 1.13 WHIP is 25th, and he lines up for an enticing outing against Pittsburgh next week.

Senzatela registered a no-decision during Saturday's 3-2 win against Arizona, allowing two runs on nine hits with two strikeouts in seven innings.

Senzatela's outing was bookended with runs -- he surrendered a Christian Walker RBI single in the first inning and a Daulton Varsho solo shot in the seventh -- but kept Arizona off the board in the middle innings thanks in part to a pair of double plays. The 27-year-old has now permitted three runs or fewer in four starts since returning from a stint on the injured list due to a shoulder injury, during which he's registered a 4.01 ERA in 24.2 innings. Senzatela possesses a 4.68 ERA and 1.70 WHIP with 50 strikeouts in 84.2 innings across 17 starts. He's currently scheduled for a rematch with Arizona next weekend.

Montgomery was removed from Saturday's game against the Yankees prior to the sixth inning due to leg cramps, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Montgomery cruised against his former team, allowing just two hits, but his night came to an early end due to the leg issue. The Cardinals noted Montgomery's removal was for precautionary purposes, so it seems more likely than not that he will take the ball the next time through rotation. He tentatively lines up for a home start versus the Brewers in next weekend's series.
