Wright (18-5) earned the win during Tuesday's 5-1 victory over San Francisco, allowing one run on three hits and three walks with four strikeouts in 5.1 innings.

Wright surrendered one run on two hits in the first inning and loaded the bases in the second but proceeded to face the minimum over the next 10 batters and fell in line for his MLB-leading 18th victory when Atlanta took the lead in the third. It was a nice rebound from eight runs in four innings during his last start. Wright carries a 3.18 ERA into his next outing, currently scheduled to come early next week against Washington.

Darvish (14-7) took the loss during Tuesday's 2-0 victory over Seattle, allowing two hits with seven strikeouts in seven scoreless innings.

Darvish permitted single baserunners in the first and seventh frames while retiring 16 straight batters in between, facing one over the minimum. The 36-year-old possesses a 3.16 ERA and 0.95 WHIP with 175 strikeouts across 176.2 innings in 27 starts. He tentatively lines up to pitch again this week Sunday against Arizona.

Kelly (12-6) took the loss during Tuesday's 4-0 defeat at the hands of the Dodgers, allowing three runs on five hits and five walks with eight strikeouts in five innings.

Kelly struggled with his control, firing only 50 of 96 pitches for strikes, but he was still able to induce a healthy nine swinging strikes en route to tying a season-best eight strikeouts. The 33-year-old also issued a season-high five walks; however, none came around to score as all three runs were the result of Joey Gallo and Freddie Freeman long balls. That's now consecutive subpar outings for Kelly, who's surrendered seven runs across 12 innings in his last two turns.

Kershaw (8-3) earned the win during Tuesday's 4-0 victory over Arizona, allowing two hits and one walk with five strikeouts in seven scoreless innings.

Kershaw delivered a vintage performance in limiting the Diamondbacks to only three baserunners, retiring 13 straight at one point. The 34-year-old fired 55 of 82 pitches for strikes, with 12 of the swinging variety, and has pitched to a 1.50 ERA with 19 strikeouts in 18 innings across three starts since returning from a back injury Sept. 1. Kershaw's 2.62 ERA and 0.97 WHIP would both rank top 10 among starters if he had enough innings to qualify. He's scheduled to take the mound again early next week for a rematch with Arizona.

Alcantara (12-8) took the loss Tuesday against Philadelphia, allowing two runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out four in seven innings.

Alcantara held the Phillies scoreless through the first six innings, scattering six singles and a walk. With one out in the seventh, he gave up a single and Nick Maton took him deep for a two-run homer. He's been a victim of the long ball of late and has given up seven home runs in his last five appearances, posting a 5.28 ERA and 1.43 WHIP in that span. Tuesday's outing brought him over 200 innings pitched for the second straight season.

Falter (5-3) earned the victory Tuesday in Miami, striking out four in six innings while allowing a run on four hits.

Falter allowed a solo homer to Bryan De La Cruz in the fifth inning and scattered three singles the rest of the way as he limited Miami to one run. He's been the winning pitcher in each of his last five starts and has a 2.43 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 22:2 K:BB in 29.2 innings in that span. Tuesday's start was his fourth straight without issuing a walk. With Zack Wheeler (forearm) nearing a return, Falter may only get one more start for the Phillies before moving to a bullpen role.

Montgomery (8-4) took the loss Tuesday versus the Brewers, allowing six runs (four earned) on seven hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out six.

Entering this game, Montgomery had allowed one or zero runs in six of his eight starts as a Cardinal. Tuesday was not his best work, as he gave up four runs across the first two innings and then yielded a two-run home run to Andrew McCutchen in the fifth. Montgomery's ERA ticked up from 3.08 to 3.20 to go along with a 1.06 WHIP and 141:32 K:BB through 163 innings between the Cardinals and the Yankees this year. The southpaw is projected for a home start versus the Reds this weekend.

DeGrom (5-2) took the loss Tuesday, allowing three runs on four hits over six innings against the Cubs. He struck out 10.

A solo home run in the top of the second and a couple of timely hits and sacrifices in the fourth led to deGrom taking his second loss, despite another quality start. With 10 strikeouts and no walks Tuesday, he recorded double-digit strikeouts for the third time in eight starts and owns a marvelous 73:4 K:BB. He will take a 2.01 ERA into his next start.

Manager Dave Roberts said the Dodgers plan to promote Grove from Triple-A Oklahoma City to start Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Grove made a spot start for Los Angeles in late August and gave up two runs over 4.2 innings, and he'll rejoin the big club for another outing Wednesday. The right-hander has spent most of the year with Oklahoma City and has a 4.07 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 68:21 K:BB across 59.2 innings.

Matz (knee) will make another rehab appearance with Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

The veteran left-hander will cover an inning for the Redbirds before being re-evaluated Wednesday. Matz has pitched 2.1 innings over his first two rehab outings, and he's expected to stretch out to cover multiple innings before being reinstated by St. Louis. He has a 5.70 ERA through 10 starts this year but will rejoin the Cardinals for the stretch run as a reliever.
