Walker did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing two runs on six hits and three walks over 5.2 innings against the Orioles. He struck out four.

It certainly could've been worse for Walker on Tuesday -- he held the Orioles to just two runs despite needing 104 pitches to make it through 5.2 innings. The 30-year-old right-hander has pitched to a 4.56 ERA over his last four outings after posting a pristine 0.84 mark in the previous five starts. Overall, Walker is 11-4 with a 4.06 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 98:46 K:BB through 21 starts (113 innings) this season. He's currently slated for a road matchup with the Marlins in his next outing.

Urias allowed three runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings in a no-decision versus the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Urias responded to last week's poor outing versus the Orioles with a partial bounce-back against another AL East opponent. While it was far from his sharpest work, Urias was able to earn his third quality start in five outings in July. The southpaw is now at a 4.98 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 77:19 K:BB over 81.1 innings through 15 starts. He's projected for a favorable home start versus the Athletics early next week.

Hill (7-10) took the loss Tuesday in San Diego after he allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks across 4.1 innings. He struck out three.

The left-hander gave up fewer than three runs for the first time since June 9, but he was unable to make it through the fifth inning versus the Friars. Hill has a 1-5 record in his past eight starts with a 5.83 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 30:21 K:BB over 41.2 innings during that span. The 43-year-old tentatively lines up to face the Tigers next week, which could put him on the streaming radar despite the recent struggles.

Snell (7-8) earned the win Tuesday versus the Pirates after he gave up one run on two hits and five walks over six innings. He struck out four.

Snell's command was a bit scattershot, as he threw just 54 of 102 pitches for a strike and issued three-plus walks for the fifth straight outing, but he still limited Pittsburgh to a single run. The left-hander has walked 22 batters across 27 frames during that five-start stretch, but he's somehow managed to give up just a pair of runs. It remains to be seen how long Snell can continue to walk the tightrope like that, and a likely matchup with the Rangers this weekend will be a tougher test.

Hendricks (4-4) earned the win Tuesday, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk over 6.1 innings against the White Sox. He struck out four.

Hendricks was fantastic outside of the seventh inning, retiring 18 of the first 19 batters he faced before giving up two runs on three hits and a walk in the seventh and getting pulled from the contest. The outing was Hendricks' second consecutive quality start and his fifth quality start in his last seven appearances. During that stretch, Hendricks owns a 3.86 ERA and a 30:5 K:BB across 42 innings.

Cobb allowed three hits and a walk while striking out nine over six scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Tuesday.

Cobb was unfortunate to miss out on a win here, as he turned in a dominant start in response to surrendering five runs his last time out. The 35-year-old right-hander's nine strikeouts were a season high, and he kept runs off the board for the sixth time in 19 starts this season. He's at a 2.97 ERA with a 1.35 WHIP and 100:28 K:BB through 106 innings overall. Cobb is lined up for a challenging home start versus the Diamondbacks next week.

Matz allowed five hits and a walk while striking out six over six scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Matz completed six frames for the first time this season, and this was one of his sharpest outings. He's allowed six runs (five earned) over 20.2 innings across four starts since rejoining the Cardinals' rotation. The strong stretch has him at a reasonable 4.34 ERA despite a 1.44 WHIP and 85:30 K:BB through 87 innings through 22 appearances (14 starts). Matz has likely solidified his place in the rotation -- a situation that could even improve if the Cards become sellers at the deadline -- so he can be projected for a home start against the Cubs this weekend.

Kelly (calf) allowed a run on four hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings in a no-decision versus the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Kelly made his first start since June 24, and he looked solid with 57 of his 86 pitches going for strikes. The Diamondbacks' offense didn't get on the board until the eighth inning, denying him a chance at the win. The right-hander now has a 3.12 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 103:39 K:BB through 101 innings over 17 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road at San Francisco. Kelly has gone at least five innings in 16 straight starts.

Burnes (9-6) was charged with the loss Tuesday against the Reds after he gave up two runs on three hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out six.

Burnes was once again in peak form, though Cincinnati was able to tally a pair of runs during the fourth inning on two singles, a walk and a hit-by-pitch. The right-hander totaled 31 called and swinging strikes as he delivered a fifth straight quality start, though he was unable to extend his four-start win streak. Burnes has a 3.46 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 131:43 K:BB across 127.1 innings this season.

Abbott (6-2) earned the win Tuesday at Milwaukee after he struck out nine and allowed seven hits and one walk over six scoreless innings.

The Brewers had traffic on the bases in every inning, but Abbott induced 15 swinging strikes to help deliver his fifth scoreless start of the season. Since he surrendered six runs over 4.1 frames against Milwaukee on July 7, the rookie left-hander has given up just two runs with an 18:5 K:BB across 20 innings over his past three starts.
