Davies did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks over four innings against the Mets. He struck out five.

Davies held the Mets off the board through his first three innings before surrendering three runs in the fourth on a Jeff McNeil homer and a Ronny Mauricio two-run double. The 30-year-old Davies has now given up eight runs in his last two outings (seven innings). Overall, he's 2-5 with a 6.81 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 64:36 K:BB through 16 starts (75.1 innings) this season. Davies is currently lined up for a home matchup with the Cubs in his next outing.

Quintana did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks over five innings against Arizona. He struck out four.

Quintana is still 2-5 on the season despite allowing two runs or fewer in seven of his 10 starts this season. Overall, the veteran southpaw sports a 3.05 ERA with a 1.27 WHIP and 43:23 K:BB across 59 innings. Quintana's currently lined up for a home matchup with the Reds in his next outing.

Hudson (6-2) took the loss Monday, allowing seven runs on eight hits and three walks over 4.1 innings against the Orioles. He struck out two.

Hudson entered the bottom of the fifth with a 5-3 lead and a chance to put himself in position for the victory but recorded only one out while allowing a run and loading the bases prior to being pulled. Andre Pallante replaced Hudson and promptly allowed a grand slam to Cedric Mullins, which closed the door on Hudson's outing and the Cardinals' chances. Hudson has now allowed five or more runs in three of his last four starts. His next chance for redemption is scheduled to come this weekend in a tough home matchup with the Phillies.

Wright (0-2) took the loss Monday, allowing six runs on six hits and two walks over three innings in a 7-5 loss to the Phillies. He struck out three.

It was a tough night for Wright, who was tagged for four runs in the opening inning en route to a loss in his first start since May 3. The 27-year-old Wright needed 62 pitches to make it through just three innings, though he was likely on a pitch count anyway after missing over four months with a shoulder strain. Wright now sports a 7.48 ERA with a 1.89 WHIP and 23:12 K:BB through six starts (21.2 innings) this season. He'll look to get on track in his next start, currently lined up for this weekend in Miami.

Luzardo (9-9) allowed six runs on 10 hits and four walks over five innings Monday, striking out five and talking a loss against Milwaukee.

Luzardo coughed up a solo homer to Mark Canha to begin the game but it was Milwaukee's four-run third inning that really buried the Marlins. Luzardo had allowed just two runs over his previous three starts but he's now given up at least six runs in three of his last six appearances. His season ERA jumped to 3.82 with a 186:49 K:BB through 160.1 frames. Luzardo is currently lined up to face Atlanta at home this weekend.

Woodruff improved to 5-1 on the season in Monday's 12-0 win over the Marlins after striking out seven while allowing six hits and a walk in a complete-game shutout.

Woodruff didn't allow a single extra-base hit and rarely found himself in much danger during the dominant outing. He tossed 77 of 106 pitches for strikes en route to his first career MLB shutout and first complete game since 2020. He's allowed just three runs over his last 28 innings, lowering his season ERA to 1.93 across 56 frames. Woodruff has given up fewer than three runs in eight of his nine starts this year. His next outing is projected to come at home against the Nationals this weekend.

Corbin (10-13) earned the win Monday, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk over 6.2 innings against the Pirates. He struck out eight.

After allowing 14 runs in his previous two starts, Corbin bounced back with a quality start in earning his 10th win. He was staked to a 6-1 lead and recorded two outs in the seventh but was bounced after a Ji Hwan Bae double plated a second run for the Pirates. The 6.2 innings represented Corbin's longest outing since July 9 and the eight strikeouts were his second highest total of the season. Corbin will look to follow up on this strong performance in his next start, scheduled to occur this weekend in Milwaukee.

Lorenzen (4-2) earned the win Monday, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks over five innings in a 7-5 victory over Atlanta. He struck out three.

Lorenzen's final line could've looked much better if it wasn't for Matt Olson -- the first baseman drove in all four Atlanta runs with a pair of home runs. Still, Lorenzen pitched well enough to earn the win behind the Phillies' seven-run outburst. Since he no-hit the Nationals on Aug. 9, the 31-year-old Lorenzen has struggled to a 7.96 ERA in his subsequent five starts (26 innings). Overall, he sports a 4.06 ERA with a 1.18 WHIP and 107:43 K:BB across 25 starts (148.2 innings) between the Phillies and Tigers this season. Lorenzen's currently lined up for a rematch with Atlanta on the road in his next outing.

Miller (undisclosed) has turned in a 4.82 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 18:7 K:BB in 18.2 innings in five games since being reinstated from Single-A Jupiter's 7-day injured list Aug. 8.

Miller was on the shelf for about two months before slotting back into the Jupiter rotation. In 59.1 innings in the Florida State League this season, the 20-year-old right-hander owns a 4.70 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 50:25 K:BB.

Alcantara (forearm) is rehabbing with the team in Milwaukee but has yet to resume throwing, Jordan McPherson of The Miami Herald reports.

Alcantara was placed on the 15-day injured list Wednesday due to a right forearm flexor strain. A timeline for the right-hander's return could start to come into focus once he starts to ramp up baseball activities.
