Abbott (2-4) allowed two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out two over five innings to earn the win Friday over the Giants.

Abbott gave up a solo home run to Thairo Estrada in the first inning and an RBI single to Tyler Fitzgerald in the second. After that, Abbott was able to settle in to earn his first win in five starts. The two strikeouts were a season low, but he's walked just one batter over his last three outings combined, though he's also given up five homers in that span. The 24-year-old has a 3.35 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 37:12 K:BB over 43 innings across eight starts this season. Abbott is projected to make his next start on the road in Arizona.

King allowed two hits and three walks while striking out a season-high 11 over seven scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Friday.

King put four runners on base but also racked up eight strikeouts over his first three innings. He ended up missing out on the win after Yuki Matsui allowed the game-tying run in the eighth inning. King was unsteady late in April, but he's opened May with 13 scoreless innings. The right-hander has a 3.67 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 54:24 K:BB through 49 innings over nine appearances (eight starts) this season. King is penciled in for a more favorable home matchup versus the Rockies his next time out.

Glasnow allowed a run on one hit and two walks while striking out 10 over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Padres on Friday.

Glasnow was excellent, with the one hit against him being a Luis Campusano solo home run in the third inning. This was the fourth time this season Glasnow has struck out 10 or more batters, and it was also his fourth straight quality start. The right-hander trimmed his ERA to 2.53 with a 0.86 WHIP and a 73:15 K:BB over 57 innings across nine starts. Glasnow is dialed in, but his workload will be something to keep an eye on -- he's never pitched more than 120 innings in a season, often due to injuries. He's projected to make his next start in San Francisco.

Gomber did not factor into the decision Friday against the Rangers, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks over 6.2 innings. He struck out five.

Gomber turned in his second straight quality start Friday night, managing to lower his season ERA to 3.43 in the process. The Rockies lefty has been surprisingly productive at Coors Field this season, delivering a 3.14 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 20:10 K:BB over 28.2 innings. Gomber is scheduled to face the Padres on the road in his next start.

Assad didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Pirates, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out four.

After the Pirates scored twice in the first inning, Assad delivered 3.1 scoreless frames before he was ultimately pulled after 89 pitches (53 strikes). The 26-year-old hasn't allowed more than one earned run in five straight starts, and he's 3-0 with a 1.70 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 35:14 K:BB across 42.1 innings this season. The Mexican-born right-hander is currently slated for a road matchup with Atlanta in his next outing.

Lynn (1-1) took the loss Friday, allowing five runs (four earned) on five hits and two walks over 4.2 innings against Milwaukee. He had five strikeouts.

Lynn cruised through the Brewers order once, but the wheels had come off by the fifth inning. The 36-year-old got the hook after 85 pitches (51 strikes), leaving two on with two outs. Matthew Liberatore provided no help as he then allowed both inherited runners to score. Lynn has struggled over his past four starts, posting a 5.49 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 19:11 K:BB over 19.2 innings. He'll look to bounce back in his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road against the Angels.

Gasser (1-0) earned the win in Friday's 11-2 victory over St. Louis, allowing two hits and no walks over six shutout innings. He struck out four.

Gasser dazzled over 79 pitches in his big-league debut against a downtrodden Cardinals offense. His fastball averaged 92.7 mph, but he more heavily relied on his sweeper, tossing it 46 percent of the time Friday. Though Freddy Peralta (suspension) is set to return to start Saturday's game, Gasser's brilliant performance should keep him in the Milwaukee rotation, especially as the Brewers have an opening after optioning Tobias Myers to Triple-A Nashville on Friday. Gasser tentatively lines up to make his next start early next week at home versus the Pirates.

Jones (2-4) took the loss Friday against the Cubs, allowing three runs (two earned) on seven hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out four.

Jones allowed a solo homer to Cody Bellinger in the first inning before the Cubs tacked on runs in the fifth and sixth. The 22-year-old Jones has yet to allow more than three runs in a start this season -- his ERA sits at 2.68 with a 0.87 WHIP and 56:7 K:BB across 47 innings in his rookie campaign. Jones is currently lined up for a rematch with Chicago on the road in his next start.

Quintana (1-4) yielded four runs on six hits and two walks over five innings Friday, striking out three and taking a loss against Atlanta.

All four runs against Quintana came in the third inning when he coughed up three homers. Prior to Friday's outing, he'd allowed just three home runs through 36.1 innings this season. Quintana's ERA has jumped from 3.48 to 5.44 after giving up 12 runs in his last two appearances. His next start is lined up to come in Philadelphia next week.

Morton (3-0) yielded a run on three hits and a walk over seven frames Friday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Mets.

Morton rolled through six easy innings before Francisco Lindor broke up with the shutout with a solo shot in the seventh. Since allowing 10 total runs in two starts April 8 and 14, Morton has turned in four straight quality starts. During that stretch, his season ERA has dropped from 5.29 to 3.14 through 43 innings. Morton is currently in line for a home matchup against the Cubs next week.
