Blach (3-5) allowed five runs on 10 hits and one walk while striking out two batters over four innings in a loss to the Dodgers on Thursday.

Blach was hit hard in the start -- five of the 10 hits he allowed, including three homers, went for extra bases. It was the first time this season he's served up three homers in an outing, and the five runs he allowed were the second-most he's surrendered in a start this season. Blach is off the fantasy radar given his home park and the fact that he's compiled a 5.13 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 29:10 K:BB over 54.1 innings this season.

Stone (8-2) earned the win over Colorado on Thursday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings.

Stone performed well in the Colorado altitude, as none of the four hits against him went for extra bases. The right-hander was working on a shutout through five frames but fell off in the sixth inning, loading the bases with one out on a pair of walks and a single before getting the hook. Two of those three runners scored after his departure, but that didn't prevent Stone from registering the win. The 25-year-old has become a key part of Los Angeles' rotation in his first full MLB campaign, leading the team with eight victories while posting a 3.04 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 63:25 K:BB over 80 innings.

Gasser will have surgery Monday to repair UCL damage in his left elbow, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

It's unclear whether Gasser is undergoing Tommy John surgery or the internal brace procedure, but he will be out for at least the next 12 months. It's tough timing for the promising young pitcher, as he had pitched well across his first five big-league starts, maintaining a 2.57 ERA and 1.04 WHIP in 28 innings.

Gore (6-6) suffered the loss Thursday, allowing four runs on 10 hits and two walks in five innings against the Diamondbacks. He struck out seven.

Gore was unable to match his opponent's efficiency on the mound, allowing 12 baserunners and needing 103 pitches to complete five frames. The Diamondbacks meanwhile needed only 87 pitches for the entirety of the contest including just 70 in seven innings by starter Ryne Nelson. Gore was done in by a lot of dink and dunk, as nine of the 10 hits he allowed were singles. It was just the second time all season Gore has allowed more than three runs and the fifth time he's eclipsed the 100-pitch plateau. The performance raised Gore's ERA from 3.24 to 3.49, while his WHIP lifted from 1.32 to 1.39. His next opportunity to toe the rubber is set for early next week when the Nationals travel to San Diego to take on the Padres.

Knack will be recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City to start against the Angels on Friday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Knack has been extremely effective in the majors this season, posting a 2.61 ERA and 0.97 WHIP across 20.2 innings through his first four starts. He'll now return to Los Angeles to fill the opening in the Dodgers' rotation left by Yoshinobu Yamamoto's (shoulder) trip to the injured list, though there's a good chance Knack's time in the majors is limited to only Friday's outing.

Nelson (5-5) earned the win Thursday, allowing two runs on three hits in seven innings against the White Sox. He struck out two.

Nelson needed just 70 pitches to complete a highly efficient seven frames, including 10 or fewer pitches in four of his seven completed innings. While he did allow a couple of batters to leave the yard, he never faced a stressful inning, as only one other batter made it as far as first base. Nelson likely had more in the tank, as he had thrown at least 80 pitches during each of his last eight starts, but the bullpen needed just 17 pitches over the final two innings to seal the victory. Nelson has three quality starts over his last four outings, allowing two runs or fewer in each of those three performances. He'll look to keep things rolling during his next start, likely to take place in the middle of next week when the Twins make the trip to Arizona.

Senzatela (elbow) tossed a 20-pitch bullpen session Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

The Rockies are bringing Senzatela along slowly as he works his way back from July 2023 Tommy John surgery, but he already has three bullpen sessions under his belt since being cleared for mound work earlier this month. Senzatela said that he won't be cleared to face hitters until he builds up to around 30-to-40 pitches in his side sessions. He thus looks to be at least a couple weeks away from pitching in live batting practice at the Rockies' facility in Arizona.

Prosecky (elbow) was cleared to make his season debut Sunday and has appeared in two games for the Rockies' rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate, tossing 2.2 innings and striking out seven while giving up two earned runs on two hits.

Prosecky posted a 2.72 ERA over 21 starts for Single-A Fresno in 2023 and should eventually rejoin the Rockies' California League affiliate once he gets more stretched out in Arizona. The 23-year-old lefty had been sidelined all season while recovering from elbow inflammation.

Senga (shoulder/triceps) threw another bullpen session Wednesday, and manager Carlos Mendoza said afterward that the right-hander's next step could be facing hitters in live batting practice, Julian Guilarte of SI.com reports.

The Mets will likely re-evaluate Senga on Thursday and Friday, but if he feels fine physically coming out of his latest bullpen session, expect him to gain clearance to face hitters. Senga has been on the injured list all season, first because of a right posterior shoulder capsule strain before he experienced right triceps inflammation in late May.

Gray (elbow) will make another rehab start for Triple-A Rochester next week, Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com reports.

Gray was able to build up to 79 pitches over five innings during his latest rehab outing Wednesday, and the goal will be for him to get up to six innings or roughly 90 pitches. It's likely he makes his next minor-league start Tuesday, which could put him in line to return to Washington's rotation June 30 against the Rays.
