Diamondbacks' Jordan Montgomery: Throws bullpen session
Montgomery (knee) threw a bullpen session Tuesday, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.
Montgomery exited the throwing session "feeling good" according to manager Torey Lovullo, as the left-hander works his way back from right knee inflammation. Montgomery has an outside chance of returning from the 15-day injured list Sunday at home versus the Blue Jays, though it seems more likely the team will wait until after the All-Star break to activate him.

Clayton Kershaw SP | LAD
Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw: Making rehab start Saturday
Kershaw (shoulder) will make his next rehab start Saturday with Triple-A Oklahoma City, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Kershaw played in a rehab game June 19 at Single-A, but soreness in his shoulder forced him to pause his rehab assignment. He has since built back up to throwing two innings in a simulated game, and the goal will be to get him up to three frames in his return to minor-league action. He will likely require another two or three rehab starts beyond Saturday before returning to Los Angeles.

Tyler Glasnow SP | LAD
Dodgers' Tyler Glasnow: Placed on IL with back tightness
The Dodgers placed Glasnow on the 15-day injured list Tuesday due to lower back tightness, retroactive to July 6.
Glasnow's back flared up Sunday while playing catch, per Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times, and his placement on the injured list means he will miss the All-Star game, with Reds right-hander Hunter Greene taking his spot. Glasnow was originally slated to pitch Thursday against the Phillies, but Landon Knack will now take to the mound for the series finale. If Glasnow returns right after the 15-day minimum, he would be lined up to start in the series finale against the Red Sox on July 21. The 30-year-old is 8-5 over 13 starts this season with a 3.47 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 143:29 K:BB over 109 innings.

Tyler Glasnow SP | LAD
Dodgers' Tyler Glasnow: Heading to IL with back tightness
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Glasnow will be placed on the 15-day injured list with back tightness, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Glasnow has allowed five runs in two straight outings, but it appears his back began bothering him Sunday while he was playing catch. Roberts said that the hope is it's a minor issue and the right-hander can return shortly after the All-Star break. If that happens, he could miss just one start. Justin Wrobleski had been slated to return to the minors, but he's now likely to fill Glasnow's next turn.

Nick Lodolo SP | CIN
Reds' Nick Lodolo: Activated for Tuesday's start
The Reds reinstated Lodolo (finger) from the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday against the Rockies.
The left-hander will step back into Cincinatti's rotation after spending the 15-day minimum on the shelf due to a blister. Lodolo has been lights out through 12 starts this season with a 2.96 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 73:19 K:BB across 70 innings, and he shouldn't have much, if any, of a workload restriction given the brevity of his absence.
