Gallegos (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session Saturday, Lynn Worthy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Middleton (forearm) reported soreness Friday after pitching in back-to-back games at Double-A Springfield, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
Middleton gave up a solo home run and three walks while striking out two batters over those two outings. He will travel to St. Louis on Friday to be re-evaluated by the team. The 30-year-old righty has been on the injured list since the beginning of the season due to a strained right forearm.

Bryse Wilson RP | PHI
Brewers' Bryse Wilson: Could follow opener
Wilson isn't starting Friday against the Red Sox but is likely to follow opener Jared Koenig.
Wilson was initially listed as the Brewers' starter, a role he's jumped into with Milwaukee's rotation hampered by injuries, but Jared Koenig is now beginning the game on the mound instead. Considering Koenig hasn't worked more than 2.2 innings in a game this year, it's expected that he'll just open the contest, leaving Wilson to operate in long relief.

Jared Koenig SP | MIL
Brewers' Jared Koenig: Serving as opener
Koenig will serve as the Brewers' opening pitcher for Friday's game against the Red Sox.
Koenig will start Friday's contest, likely opening ahead of Bryse Wilson, who was initially labeled the Brewers starter. Koenig hasn't completed three innings in an appearance this season and is expected to throw just an inning or two before handing the ball off.
