The Brewers transferred Zastryzny (shoulder/ribs) to the 60-day injured list Tuesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

The transaction clears a spot on the 40-man roster for the addition of Greg Jones. Zastryzny began the season on the IL with a shoulder strain before suffering an intercostal strain on his rehab assignment. The latter injury would appear to be the bigger issue now, and it will keep him out at least until late May.

Gerber struck out five and gave up two hits and a walk over two scoreless innings of relief in Monday's loss to the Dodgers.

Making his first appearance since being added to the big-league roster Sunday, Gerber fired 31 of 47 pitches for strikes in an impressive performance for a Mets team that's looking for any kind of spark right now. The 28-year-old right-hander may have earned himself a longer look with the effort, but Gerber is likely to bounce between the Mets and Triple-A Syracuse all season as a lower-leverage option with a minor-league option remaining.

Nardi (1-0) struck out one in a perfect fifth inning Monday to record the win in a 10-4 victory over Atlanta.

Eury Perez was lifted after four-plus innings and 76 pitches with the Marlins ahead 6-4, but Nardi was able to shut down the opposition when he entered the game with runners on first and second and nobody out. The southpaw has looked good to begin 2026 after missing all of 2025 due to back woes, posting a 1.80 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 7:3 K:BB over five innings with a win and two holds in six appearances.

Atlanta recalled Harris from Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.

Harris will provide the club with a fresh bullpen arm after Atlanta's relievers were needed for five innings in Monday's loss to the Marlins. The lefty has yielded three runs with a 7:6 K:BB over 5.2 frames in his first five appearances with Gwinnett this season.

Atlanta optioned Munoz to Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.

Munoz was in the majors for just one day, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk over two innings in Monday's loss to the Marlins. Atlanta is replacing him with a fresh reliever in Hayden Harris.

Assad (1-1) took the loss Monday against the Phillies, allowing nine runs on 11 hits and two walks in 4.1 innings. He struck out three.

After pitching 5.2 shutout innings in his season debut versus the Rays, Assad faltered in a much tougher spot against Philadelphia's potent lineup. The nine runs allowed were a career worst, and the 11 knocks given up were also a career worst for the right-hander. Matthew Boyd (biceps) is on track to rejoin the Cubs' rotation early next week against the Phillies, so Assad's next start may not come at the major-league level if Boyd is indeed ready to return by then.

Holmes did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks over four innings against the Marlins. He struck out three.

Holmes turned in his least effective outing of an otherwise strong start to the 2026 campaign, undone by a three-run fourth inning after opening with three scoreless frames. Through four starts, the right-hander owns a 3.32 ERA and 1.11 WHIP with a 17:10 K:BB across 21.2 innings. His next outing is likely to come over the weekend on the road against the Phillies.

Rashi was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Monday, Jody Jackson of Bally Sports Arizona reports.

Rashi will vacate the big-league roster with Merrill Kelly (back) set to make his return from the 15-day injured list Tuesday. Rashi was hit hard during Monday's 9-7 loss to the Orioles, surrendering four runs on three hits and one walk while striking out one over two-thirds of an inning.

Holmes (hamstring) threw a bullpen Monday without issue and will make his next scheduled start Wednesday against the Dodgers, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Holmes passed the training staff's strength tests with flying colors Saturday, and after firing a successful bullpen Monday, the Mets have officially cleared him to toe the rubber Wednesday. He's off to a strong start to the 2026 campaign, posting a 1.50 ERA and 1.11 WHIP with 12 strikeouts over 18.0 innings (three starts).

Manager Dave Roberts stated Monday that he expects Diaz to pitch during Los Angeles' three-game series against the Mets, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Diaz has passed manual testing conducted by LA's training staff to rule out any injuries, and the team isn't concerned about the flamethrower's health despite the fact that he didn't feel quite right after Friday's appearance. Diaz has since noted that he's feeling "great", per Jack Harris of the California Post, and the expectation is that he'll be available to pitch during the team's three-game series against New York if there's a save chance.
