Santillan earned the save in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Yankees, striking out one over two perfect innings.

Santillan was impressive Sunday, turning in his first multi-inning effort of the season to lock down his fifth save. After a rough stretch earlier this year, Santillan's now turned in seven straight scoreless appearances, allowing just four hits while striking out six across seven innings in that span. Overall, his ERA sits at 5.10 with a 1.40 WHIP and 28:13 K:BB across 30 innings.

The Rockies placed Castano on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to a right pectoral strain.

Castano will be eligible to return from the shelf July 3, but given the nature of his injury, he may need more than the minimum amount of time on the IL to make a full recovery. The 26-year-old had been occupying a low-leverage role in the Colorado bullpen since being promoted from Triple-A Albuquerque on May 21, recording one win and no holds or saves while pitching to a 3.93 ERA and 1.36 WHIP across 18.1 innings in nine appearances.

The Rockies selected Brebbia's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

He'll be joining the big-league bullpen as a replacement for right-hander Blas Castano (pectoral), who was moved to the 15-day injured list. The 36-year-old Brebbia caught on with the Rockies on a minor-league deal in late May and was highly effective over his seven appearances for Albuquerque, striking out 10 over nine scoreless frames. Brebbia could quickly settle into a high-leverage role in a Colorado bullpen that's lacking dependable arms.

The Diamondbacks optioned Abner to Triple-A Reno on Sunday.

Since Abner was unlikely to be available out of the bullpen for at least a couple of days after tossing 2.2 scoreless innings and 44 pitches Saturday, the Diamondbacks opted to send him to Triple-A. Arizona recalled lefty Kohl Drake from Reno in a corresponding move, giving the bullpen a fresh arm capable of covering multiple innings.

The Marlins transferred Ekness (calf) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday.

When Ekness was initially placed on the IL on June 1 due to a right calf strain, manager Clayton McCullough indicated that the right-handed reliever would be out for approximately six weeks. Ekness' move to the 60-day IL likely pushes his absence into August. The 24-year-old posted a 1.69 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 5:5 K:BB in 5.1 innings over six appearances for Miami prior to being injured.

Peralta will start Sunday's game against the Rangers as an opener.

The left-hander fired a scoreless frame as an opener Monday against the Cardinals and will be called upon to fill that role in front of Lucas Giolito again Sunday. Peralta has a 1.96 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 24:18 K:BB over 36.2 innings.

Pagan (hamstring) threw 20 pitches and used his entire repertoire in a live batting practice session Friday, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Pagan faced live hitters for the first time since landing on the injured list May 6. The right-hander was pleased with his command and stuff during workout and is scheduled to throw another live BP session Monday. If all goes well Monday, Pagan could then out on a minor-league rehab assignment.

Pfaadt allowed one unearned run on two hits and no walks while striking out four over 3.2 innings in a start for Triple-A Reno on Saturday.

Pfaadt, who was making his third start since being demoted to Triple-A, upped his pitch count to 52 (36 strikes). At the time of his demotion, the right-hander was pitching in relief and needed to be built back up as a starter. He owns a 1.80 ERA and 0.80 WHIP over 10 innings in the Pacific Coast League. With the Diamondbacks having placed two starters on the injured list over the weekend, Pfaadt is expected to eventually move into the major-league rotation once his pitch count gets up to the 75-to-80 range, per Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com.

Webb (1-2) took the loss and a blown save Saturday against the Blue Jays, allowing three runs on three hits while retiring only two batters in relief.

The right-hander was the second pitcher used in the eighth inning, as he came on after Caleb Thielbar walked a batter and allowed a single to start the frame. Webb still had an opportunity to protect a 5-3 Chicago lead, but he allowed a pair of RBI singles, then served up a three-run home run to Kazuma Okamoto to ultimately take the loss. Webb recorded a save Wednesday, which was Chicago's first save opportunity since Daniel Palencia (elbow) landed on the injured list. It remains to be seen who the Cubs will turn to next after this stumble.

Myers struck out a batter and was charged with two earned runs on three hits over 2.1 innings of relief Saturday in the Mets' 15-3 loss to the Phillies.

Myers was called up for a start Monday in Cincinnati but recorded just four outs before being chased from the game after allowing seven runs. He'll wind up getting just one turn through the rotation before returning to a long relief role. David Peterson will move into the rotation for Sunday's series finale, with Christian Scott (hip) likely to fill that spot afterward.
