Neris has a 3.60 ERA with 30 strikeouts in 30 innings for Lehigh Valley this season. He appeared for the Phillies briefly earlier this season, pitching 2 2/3 innings and striking out two batters.

Padres closer Craig Kimbrel picked up his second loss of the season following his appearance in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Athletics
Kimbrel entered with the game tied at 5-5 in the ninth inning. After walking two batters and recording one out, Kimbrel gave up an RBI single to Eric Sogard. This proved to be the game-winner for the Athletics.
Kimbrel now has an ERA of 3.81 for the season.

Rockies SP Chris Rusin blasted for seven runs on Tuesday
Rockies left-hander Chris Rusin struggled for the second consecutive start in Tuesday's loss to the Astros. Rusin, who gave up six earned runs his last time out, lasted four innings on Tuesday. He surrendered seven runs on nine hits, while walking two and striking out four. He needed 92 pitches to get through the four innings.
Rusin got beat up by Luis Valbuena, who touched him up for a solo home run in the second inning and a a three-run shot in the third inning.
Rusin (2-2, 5.14 ERA) will look to turn things around in his next start, scheduled for Sunday at home against the Brewers.
