Miller agreed to a one-year, $4.35 million deal with the Diamondbacks on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Yahoo! Sports' Jeff Passan reports.

The centerpiece of the most talked about trade of the offseason, Miller will be expected to help anchor Arizona's rotation behind Zack Greinke. He tossed a career-high 205.1 innings in 2015, and despite posting an excellent 3.02 ERA, he was only able to notch six wins with the lowly Braves. That number should double if he can stay healthy with Arizona, although the ERA should see a spike, given the downgrade in home ballparks and his foreboding 4.07 xFIP from last season.

Jansen settled on a one-year, $10.65 deal with the Dodgers on Friday, avoiding arbitration, MLB Network's Jon Heyman reports.

Jansen's 2015 campaign started a bit late due to an injury, but he returned to form to finish the season with a 2.41 ERA and 0.78 WHIP with 80 strikeouts over 52.1 innings, notching 36 saves. He'll earn a cool $10.65 million in his last year of arbitration, but it wouldn't be surprising if the Dodgers attempt to extend his contract before the season ends.

Strop and the Cubs agreed to terms on a $4.4 million deal Friday, avoiding arbitration, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Strop enjoyed a productive 2015 campaign, posting a 2.91 ERA across a career-high 76 appearances out of the bullpen. While he occasionally finished games, Strop was used primarily as a late-inning reliever. He'll find himself in that role again in 2016, and he's viewed as the top option to close in the event of an injury/demotion to Hector Rondon.

Melancon agreed to a one-year, $9.65 million contract with the Pirates on Friday, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports.

Melancon permanently secured the Pirates' closing role in 2014, and continued to thrive in that role in 2015, finishing with 51 saves along with a 2.23 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 62 strikeouts over 76.2 innings. While he doesn't feature the stuff to consistently put away opponents via the strikeout, he spots the ball well enough to get the job done. The 30-year-old will once again serve as the club's closer in 2016, but it's difficult to see much improvement from his previous numbers.

Hudson and the Diamondbacks agreed to terms on a one-year, $2.7 million deal Friday, avoiding arbitration, Zach Buchanan of AZCentral.com reports.

Hudson appeared in 64 games last season, with 63 of those appearances coming out of the bullpen. The 28-year-old posted a 3.86 ERA to go with a 1.315 WHIP across 67.2 cumulative innings. He figures to return in a similar role next season, though he did state that he'd like to return to a starting role at some point.

Edgin (elbow) and the Mets agreed to terms on a one-year, $625,000 deal Friday, avoiding arbitration, Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Edgin missed the entire 2015 season, but he'll return in 2016 and will look to pick up where he left off in 2014, when he posted a 1.32 ERA across 27.1 relief innings. Edgin is expected to be ready for Opening Day.

Torres and the Mets agreed to terms on a one-year, $1.05 million deal Friday, avoiding arbitration, Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Torres concluded 2015 with a 4.68 ERA and 1.370 WHIP across 59 appearances out of the bullpen. He spent the bulk of the season as a middle reliever and will likely return in a similar role in 2016.

Smith and the Brewers agreed to terms on a one-year, $1.475 million deal Friday, avoiding arbitration, Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Smith will return as arguably the Brewers' best reliever after posting a 2.70 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with 91 strikeouts in 63.1 innings as the setup man in 2015. With Francisco Rodriguez now in Detroit, Smith could be in line to step into a closing role.

Gomez and the Phillies agreed to a one-year, $1.4 million contract Thursday, avoiding arbitration, Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports.

Gomez has moved completely into a relief role over the past two years and has been serviceable, with a 3.10 ERA. However, he has just 88 strikeouts in 136.2 innings (5.8 K/9) in that span and is unlikely to provide more than solid, multi-inning middle relief.

Pomeranz and the Padres agreed to a one-year, $1.35 million contract to avoid arbitration, Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports.

Pomeranz has been solid but not spectacular in a swingman role the last two seasons, as he owns a 3.08 ERA and a 146:57 K:BB in 73 games (19 starts) since 2014 for Oakland. He was far better as a reliever (2.61 ERA, 3.3 K/BB) than a starter (4.63 ERA, 2.1 K/BB) in 2015, and he is best suited to a bullpen role in San Diego.
