Mark Leiter RP | ATH
Phillies' Mark Leiter: Activated from disabled list
Leiter (forearm) was activated from the disabled list Tuesday.
Leiter has yet to make his season debut after being sidelined by a forearm strain suffered back in spring training. He'll likely fill a low-leverage role in the Phillies' bullpen, though he did make 11 starts for the team last season and could be an option to make another handful at some point this season.

Shelby Miller RP | CHC
Diamondbacks' Shelby Miller: Another extended spring start coming
Miller (elbow) will make his second start at extended spring training Thursday, Justin Toscano of MLB.com reports.
After tossing three innings and striking out five in his first extended spring outing Friday, Miller tossed a bullpen session Monday and experienced no unexpected soreness in his surgically repaired right elbow. He'll likely work deeper into Thursday's appearance as he builds up to a starter's workload in anticipation of a late-June return from the 60-day disabled list. With Taijuan Walker (elbow) shut down for the season, Miller should have a rotation spot waiting for him once he's activated by the Diamondbacks.

Victor Arano RP | WAS
Phillies' Victor Arano: Allows run in rehab appearance
Arano (shoulder) allowed a run on two hits in a rehab inning for Double-A Reading on Monday, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Arano had only allowed one run in 12 major-league innings before landing on the disabled list with a right rotator cuff strain in late April. Whether or not he'll need another rehab appearance or two before returning to big-league action is not yet clear.

A.J. Minter RP | MIN
Braves' A.J. Minter: Escapes trouble, earns second save
Minter allowed one run on two hits with one walk and one strikeout in an inning of work en route to his second save of the season Monday against the Cubs.
Minter played with fire in this one, loading the bases before yielding a run on a hit batsman. That brought Kris Bryant to the plate with the game on the line, but a well-struck ball to left found a glove to end the threat. Minter was called upon as Arodys Vizcaino had pitched each of the previous two days, but he looked less than convincing in the role. The former could eventually take over full time as the Braves closer, but this effort didn't exactly help Minter's case.

Alex Reyes RP | LAD
Cardinals' Alex Reyes: Strikes out 12 in dazzling rehab outing
Reyes (elbow) struck out 12 over five scoreless innings Monday in a rehab start for Low-A Peoria.
Reyes was electric, as his fastball hit triple digits and easily blew away the young opposing minor league hitters. He is likely to need at least two more rehab starts before making a late May or early June return to St. Louis, but this is the most encouraging sign yet that Reyes can recover from his February 2017 Tommy John surgery and become a force on the big-league staff. It is unclear what role he will assume when he is activated, but the fact he is getting stretched out to this degree signals the Cardinals are open to activating him into a starter's role.

Brent Suter RP | ATL
Brewers' Brent Suter: Named starter Friday against Twins
Suter will start Friday against the Twins, Adam McCalvy of ESPN.com reports.
The Brewers have been going with a four-man rotation due to injuries lately, but Suter will need to make another start Friday with both Chase Anderson and Zach Davies out of action. Suter allowed four runs on two home runs his last time out May 12 at Coors Field. He'll get a chance to rectify things at a better pitchers' park in Minnesota, but Suter owned a 4.86 ERA driven by five home runs allowed in his eight prior appearances, so there's no guarantee the change of scenery will help Friday night.

Devin Williams RP | NYM
Brewers' Devin Williams: Eying second half return
Williams (elbow) is hoping to join a full-season minor-league affiliate sometime during the second half of the season, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Williams is currently at the team's spring training facility rehabbing from Tommy John surgery that he underwent in March of 2017. He's currently able to throw 15-20 pitches with no restrictions and figures to report to a minor-league affiliate once his arm strength is fully built back up.

Hector Neris RP | HOU
Phillies' Hector Neris: Doesn't get save but job not lost
Neris was not called upon Sunday against the Mets despite a clear save opportunity occurring.
Neris hadn't pitched the day before, but manager Gabe Kapler called upon Edubray Ramos instead to hold a two-run lead in the ninth inning. Nevertheless, MLB.com reports that Neris hasn't lost his closer's job. "We said from Spring Training and the beginning of the season that we would use the most appropriate reliever in a situation," Kapler said. "Sometimes, that's going to be Hector. Sometimes, that's going to be others late in the game." That could be true, but Neris could be due for some time out of the spotlight after blowing two of his last four save opportunities. Whether the change was just a one-off or if Neris is set to see significantly fewer save chances going forward remains to be seen. If Neris does indeed lose the role, Ramos and Seranthony Dominguez (who pitched a scoreless eighth inning Sunday) would likely be the primary candidates for saves.

Seranthony Dominguez RP | SEA
Phillies' Seranthony Dominguez: Tosses scoreless eighth
Dominguez earned a hold by striking out two in a scoreless eighth inning Sunday against the Mets.
Dominguez is rapidly moving into a higher-leverage role. His first two major-league appearances occurred with 10-run leads. On Thursday, he pitched with a two-run lead in the seventh. Sunday he was called upon with a one-run lead in the eighth. He's gotten the job done in each case, striking out five in four scoreless innings, allowing just one baserunner. There appears to be some turmoil in the Phillies bullpen, with Hector Neris not being called upon in a save situation Sunday after having allowed runs in two of his last four appearances. Edubray Ramos got the call this time, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Dominguez given a save opportunity sometime soon.

Victor Arano RP | WAS
Phillies' Victor Arano: Set for rehab appearance Monday
Arano (shoulder) will throw 20 pitches in a rehab appearance with Double-A Reading on Monday, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic Philadelphia reports.
Arano has been out all month with a right rotator cuff strain. He'll likely need a rehab appearance or two but seems to be nearing a return. Prior to the injury, the 23-year-old was having an excellent season, striking out 13 in 12 innings and allowing just one earned run.
