Dominguez walked one and struck out one in a scoreless inning to get his 15th save of the season in a win over the Braves on Saturday.

This marked the right-hander's first save since Aug. 16 for a Phillies bullpen that's flipped between stoppers several times, often using a committee. Hector Neris, the arguable top choice for this role lately, pitched in the eighth inning and had to face Ronald Acuna and Ender Inciarte -- which might play into how he's the favored high-leverage relief arm. Dominguez, who often led this pack in his up-and-down year, still boasts a nifty 3.00 ERA with 11.4 K/9 and 3.5 BB/9 on the season.

Rodriguez struck out one and allowed five runs on six hits and three walks over three innings in a 10-6 loss to the Dodgers on Saturday. He did not factor into the decision.

Rodriguez allowed solo home runs to Joc Pederson and Yasiel Puig in the first inning and then exited in the fourth inning after allowing two hits and a walk without recording an out. The 26-year-old ended his rookie campaign on a sour note but still posted a 2.81 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 89:36 K:BB across 118.1 innings.

Iglesias struck out two and retired the side in order to earn his 30th save of the season in a victory over the Pirates on Saturday.

Iglesias was handed a 3-0 lead before disposing of the Bucs with a tidy 12-pitch, eight-strike outing to close the ninth and the game. The 2018 season marks the right-hander's first time reaching the 30-save mark. He'll be working for the third straight day if he appears during Sunday's season finale, into which he'll carry a stellar 2.44 ERA, 9.8 K/9 and 3.2 BB/9 for an otherwise underachieving Cincinnati club.

Holmes will start Sunday against Cincinnati.

Holmes has made three starts and seven relief appearances for the Pirates so far this season. He's struggled to an ugly 7.25 ERA through his first 22.1 big-league innings, walking more batters (19) than he's struck out (18). The right-hander threw two innings in relief during Thursday's series finale against the Cubs, so he'll likely face a restricted pitch count in his final outing of 2018.

Miller (elbow) was activated from the 60-day disabled list Saturday.

Miller hasn't pitched since before the All-Star break while battling elbow inflammation. He's made just four starts for Arizona this year, allowing 21 runs (19 earned) in 15 innings. Christian Walker was placed on the 60-day disabled list with a facial fracture in a corresponding move.

Strop (hamstring) said Saturday that he will not pitch this weekend, but he is aiming to return Thursday, Mark Gonzales of The Chicago Tribune reports.

Thursday would mark the start of the postseason should the Cubs hold off the Brewers for the NL Central crown. When asked if he'd be available Monday (for a potential tiebreaker with Milwaukee) or Tuesday (potential NL Wild Card game), Strop responded, "Don't talk to me about Tuesday, we're looking [to win the division]." A return to the mound Thursday would mark a significant recovery after he suffered a hamstring injury in mid-September, though more should be known after he tests it in the coming days.

Jansen picked up the save with a scoreless ninth inning against the Giants on Friday, throwing a scoreless ninth inning without allowing a baserunner to close out a 3-1 victory for the Dodgers. He didn't record a walk or a strikeout.

That makes 38 saves for the right-hander, who successfully protected a two-run lead in this contest with a drama-free effort. Jansen's 2.83 ERA over 70 innings this season is a bit higher than what owners may have grown accustomed to in past seasons, but the steady stream of saves and 0.97 WHIP have nonetheless allowed him to remain one of the better closer options out there for fantasy purposes.

Gsellman will not pitch this weekend due to his workload throughout the 2018 season, Mike Puma of The New York Post reports.

Gsellman will end the campaign at exactly 80 innings pitched with a 4.28 ERA and 1.30 WHIP. He accumulated 13 saves, including eight since the start of August. The 25-year-old finished the season with a save against Atlanta on Thursday. In addition, Seth Lugo will also be shut down from pitching this week. If the Mets wind up in a save situation, look for Anthony Swarzak to close.

Strop (hamstring) is further along than the Cubs expected and could pitch at some point during the team's weekend series against the Cardinals, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

Strop hasn't pitched in over two weeks while battling a hamstring injury. With Brandon Morrow (arm) out for the season, Strop is expected to be the Cubs' primary closer in the playoffs, so the team would likely want to see him pitch at least an inning before the end of the regular season.

Chavez recorded the save in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Pirates. He allowed a hit and struck out one.

After Justin Wilson blew a save opportunity Wednesday, the Cubs turned to Chavez in this one and got better results. The veteran righty has been a valuable addition to the Chicago bullpen, and he now has a solid 2.63 ERA this season along with five saves. Chavez figures to get some high-leverage work in the playoffs.
