Patino (finger) was placed on the 7-day injured list at Double-A Amarillo on Tuesday.

The move is retroactive to Aug. 25. Patino exited following the third inning in his last start after developing a blister on his right finger. Though an update on his condition has not been made available, the Padres are taking no chances with their prized pitching prospect, and there's a chance he doesn't pitch again this season. The 19-year-old has compiled a 6-8 record along with a 2.57 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 123:38 K:BB in 94.2 innings across two minor-league levels.

Gott won't throw for two weeks after being diagnosed with a Grade 1 UCL sprain and a flexor strain in his right elbow, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Gott landed on the 10-day injured list earlier Tuesday but didn't previously have a specific timeline for his return. Manager Bruce Bochy indicated surgery is not being considered and hopes the 27-year-old will pitch again this season.

Rogers had his contract selected from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Rogers will have a chance to make his big-league debut after posting a 4.21 ERA and 1.40 WHIP with a 55:28 K:BB over 62 innings this season at Triple-A. He'll work out of the bullpen while with San Francisco.

Gott (elbow) was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Gott was pulled from Monday night's contest due to injury, and the team later disclosed that the right-hander suffered a right elbow strain. A timetable for his return has yet to be revealed.

Harvey was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday.

Harvey was called up ahead of Monday's matchup, though he'll head right back to Triple-A without stepping onto a big-league mound. He figures to rejoin the Rockies in September when rosters expand.

Garica had his contract selected from Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday.

Garcia will toe the rubber Tuesday against Boston after being promoted to the majors. It will be his big-league debut. Chad Bettis (hip) was moved to the 60-day injured list to create room on the 40-man roster.

Diaz (neck) will throw off a mound prior to Tuesday's game to determine his availability against the Cubs, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Diaz was unavailable to pitch Sunday due to right trapezius tightness, but after benefitting from a scheduled off day Monday, he could be ready to roll for Tuesday's series opener. The Mets should provide an update on Diaz's status shortly after his throwing session.

Kinley was recalled from Triple-A New Orleans on Tuesday, Andre Fernandez of The Athletic reports.

Kinley was demoted to the minors Sunday, but with Austin Brice (forearm) landing on the injured list, he'll be allowed to rejoin the big-league squad immediately. He owns a 4.14 ERA and 1.73 WHIP with a 35:29 K:BB over 37 innings this season with Miami.

Williams (shoulder) is set to meet with team doctors in Washington on Tuesday, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

Williams has been sidelined since April 19 due to a sprained right AC joint, and he doesn't appear all that close to returning. It's unclear if he'll pitch again this season.

Gott was diagnosed with right forearm tightness after he was removed from his relief appearance Monday in the Giants' 6-4 loss to the Diamondbacks, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. He retired two hitters and was charged with two runs on one hit and two walks before departing.

Manager Bruce Bochy said Gott would be unavailable for at least a few days while the right-hander undergoes further diagnostic testing as the Giants look to determine the severity of his injury. Considering Gott already missed time this season due to a forearm strain, he'll likely require another stint on the 10-day injured list, even if follow-up tests reveal no structural damage to his elbow. The hard-throwing 27-year-old owns a modest 4.44 ERA on the season but has supported it with a strong 1.10 WHIP and 18.7 K-BB% in 52.2 innings.
