The Diamondbacks placed Bracho (elbow) on the 60-day injured list Monday, Zach Buchanan of The Athletic reports.

Back in spring training, Bracho had been expected to open the season on the shelf while he continued to recover from the Tommy John surgery he required in March 2019. Even with Opening Day having since been pushed back another four months, Bracho still won't be ready to go after general manager Mike Hazen indicated the right-hander suffered a setback in his recovery while the season was suspended. Bracho's move to the 60-day IL likely means he won't pitch for the Diamondbacks at any point in 2020.

Castano is part of the Marlins' 60-man player pool, Craig Mish of SportsGrid.com reports.

He is not on the 40-man roster and has never reached the majors. The 25-year-old lefty logged a 3.35 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 73:16 K:BB in 86 innings, primarily as a starter, at Double-A last season.

Boxberger is part of the Marlins' 60-man player pool, Craig Mish of SportsGrid.com reports.

The veteran reliever was in camp on a minor-league deal, but he was in line to make the club prior to the shutdown, so this comes as no surprise. Brandon Kintzler, Ryne Stanek (back) and Yimi Garcia are better bets to get saves this year, but it wouldn't be that surprising if Boxberger got enough late-inning opportunities to record a couple saves in the condensed season.

Doyle will be added to the Rockies' 60-man roster, Nick Groke of The Athletic reports.

Doyle will join the players at the alternate site at Albuquerque once the season starts, so he is not guaranteed to pitch in the majors this season. The 24-year-old reliever has had success in the lower levels of the minors, but he has yet to pitch at an age-appropriate level.

Vesia is part of the Marlins' 60-man player pool, Craig Mish of SportsGrid.com reports.

The 24-year-old southpaw has thrived as a reliever in the minors ever since the Marlins selected him in the 17th round of the 2018 draft. He utilizes a deceptive delivery and a plus changeup to flummox minor-league hitters, but lacks the high-end velocity (sits in low-90s) typically associated with late-inning arms.

Uceta has been invited to the Dodgers' summer camp.

Uceta impressed in his first stop at the Double-A level last season, compiling a 3.21 ERA and 1.30 WHIP along with a 76:33 K:BB over 73 innings. He likely needs more seasoning before facing major-league hitters, however, so he may not make his big-league debut in 2020.

White has been added to the Dodgers' 60-man player pool.

White was added to the team's 40-man roster in November, so it's not surprising to see him claim a spot in summer camp. However, the right-hander struggled in his first experience at the Triple-A level last season, so he's unlikely to see much major-league playing time in 2020.

Weathers will be part of the Padres' 60-man summer camp.

The 20-year-old southpaw has a chance to develop into a quality mid-rotation starter down the road, but he has never pitched above Low-A, so he is unlikely to see time in the majors this season. Working on his conditioning and improving the consistency of his fastball will be on his to-do list while working with the Padres' other top prospects this summer.

Patino will be part of the Padres' 60-man summer camp.

While the 20-year-old righty has a very promising future, he faces an uphill battle to earn starts in the majors in this shortened season. He has only logged 7.2 innings above High-A and will be competing with a host of talented pitchers who have more experience than him. That said, if he forces the issue or is given an opportunity due to injuries ahead of him on the depth chart, Patino would immediately become an appealing option in redraft leagues.

Gonzalez was named to the Dodgers' summer-camp roster Sunday.

Gonzalez is on the team's 40-man roster, so it is no surprise that he received an invitation to summer camp. The southpaw ascended quickly through the Dodgers' system last season -- he began the year at High-A and ended at Triple-A -- and functioned as both a starter and a reliever, giving him a strong chance of making his major-league debut during the shortened 2020 campaign.
