Howard (0-1) allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk over 4.2 innings Sunday, striking out four batters and taking the loss in the second game of the doubleheader against Atlanta.

Howard made his big-league debut against a hungry Braves lineup. He yielded a two-run shot to Freddie Freeman in the third inning and a solo blast to Ronald Acuna in the fifth. If Howard gets another turn in the rotation, he should see the Mets at home on Friday.

Rogers (1-3) allowed two runs on two hits and recorded his only out via strikeout, taking the loss Sunday versus the Dodgers.

Rogers gave up a three-run home run to A.J. Pollock in the seventh inning, which gave the Dodgers a 3-2 lead and left Rogers with the loss. The 29-year-old has five holds but also carries an unsightly 11.88 ERA and 1.58 WHIP across 8.1 innings this season. He's had three bad outings and six clean ones. Rogers has been too inconsistent to have much fantasy appeal in standard mixed leagues.

Lamet (2-0) allowed one run on one hit across 6.2 innings Sunday, striking out 11 and earning the win over the Diamondbacks.

Lamet was nothing short of dominant against Arizona on Sunday. The 28-year-old righty carried a no-hitter through six innings before allowing a leadoff homer to Kole Calhoun in the seventh. In 22.1 innings this season, Lamet owns a stellar 1.61 ERA and 28:7 K:BB. He'll see the Diamondbacks again -- this time on the road -- Friday.

Melancon earned the save in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Phillies, allowing no runs on one hit and no walks. He struck out zero.

Melancon has been dominant over his first five innings this year. He hasn't allowed any runs while posting a 0.80 WHIP across five appearances. As a result, he's been rewarded with three saves and a win. The right-hander likely still carries a relatively short leash due to the Braves' depth among their late relievers, but he hasn't done anything to make the team question putting him in during save situations.

Matzek (2-0) fired 1.2 scoreless innings as he earned the win in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Phillies. He allowed no hits and two walks while striking out one.

Matzek has been sharp out of the bullpen to begin the season as he still hasn't allowed any runners to cross the plate, and he was rewarded with his second win in his last three appearances during the first game of Sunday's doubleheader. Despite his recent string of victories, the left-hander has limited fantasy value as a middle reliever.

De Los Santos was designated for assignment by the Phillies on Sunday, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The 24-year-old was optioned to the team's alternate training site Wednesday after a two-day stint in the majors, and he's now been cast off the 40-man roster. De Los Santos didn't appear in a game while up with the big club this season. He had a 7.36 ERA over 11 big-league innings last season.

Howard had his contract selected ahead of his start in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Braves, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The 24-year-old is now officially on the 40-man and 28-man rosters as he gets set to make his major-league debut in Sunday's nightcap. Howard is one of the top pitching prospects in baseball and posted a 2.35 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 38:9 K:BB over 30.2 innings at Double-A Reading last season.

Suarez was optioned to the Giants' alternate training site Sunday and was added to the taxi squad.

The 27-year-old has had two stints on the active roster over the past week, but he has yet to see major-league action this season. Suarez and Trevor Cahill are potential candidates to fill the rotation spot of Jeff Samardzija (shoulder), who was placed on the injured list Saturday.

Garcia (undisclosed) was activated from the injured list Sunday.

The 27-year-old was absent from summer camp for undisclosed reasons and was placed on the injured list, but he's now ready to join the active roster. Garcia was a reliable bullpen piece for the Giants in 2019 with a 3.02 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 39:16 K:BB over 50.2 innings.

Antone was recalled from the Reds' alternate training site Sunday.

The 25-year-old was sent down after making a spot start Thursday, but he'll rejoin the team with Mike Moustakas (quadriceps) heading to the injured list. Antone has appeared in two games this season and has allowed two runs on three hits with a 9:5 K:BB over 8.2 innings. He should work out of the bullpen this time around for the Reds.
