Ferguson (elbow) was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

The results of Ferguson's MRI have yet to be released, but the Dodgers evidently don't believe he'll be ready to pitch at any point in the next 10 days. He's likely thrown his last pitch of the regular season, though he could appear in one of the final two games of the campaign if he returns after the minimum 10 days. Josh Sborz was recalled to take his place in the pen.

Topa was recalled by the Brewers on Wednesday.

Topa will be part of his third transaction in as many days, as he was recalled for a doubleheader Monday before being optioned Tuesday. Whether or not he remains on the team longer this time remains to be seen. Josh Lindblom was placed on the bereavement list in a corresponding move.

Strahm (knee) threw a bullpen session Wednesday, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Strahm hit the injured list Friday with right knee inflammation. Given that he's throwing again within a week, it doesn't appear that he's set for a lengthy absence, though whether or not he returns after the minimum 10 days remains to be seen.

Ferguson underwent an MRI on his left elbow Wednesday, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Ferguson suffered some sort of elbow injury during Tuesday's game against the Padres. He's yet to be placed on the injured list, though a move could come once the results of the test are known.

The Dodgers announced Graterol as their starting pitcher for Wednesday's game against the Padres, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Dustin May had previously been listed as the probable starter for the series finale in San Diego, but he's apparently still experiencing some discomfort in his foot after being struck by a comebacker in his previous start Sept. 10. Graterol started in his most recent appearance Sept. 13 versus the Astros, but he worked as a glorified opener in the contest, recording three outs via strikeout before giving way to the bullpen. The Dodgers may allow Graterol to work 2-to-3 innings Wednesday, but expect manager Dave Roberts to treat the series finale as another bullpen game.

Kelly has completed his five-game suspension and will be active for Wednesday's game against the Padres, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Kelly was hit with the ban (which was initially set to be eight games before being reduced upon appeal) for throwing near the heads of a pair of Astros hitters back in late July. The punishment was delayed for quite some time, first during the appeals process and then while Kelly spent a month on the shelf with shoulder inflammation. He's finally ready to go and should be able to make a handful of appearances for the Dodgers down the stretch.

Treinen picked up the hold against San Diego on Tuesday, retiring both batters he faced, including one by strikeout.

Caleb Ferguson got the call to serve as the eighth-inning bridge to closer Kenley Jansen, but Treinen was summoned after Ferguson was forced to leave with an elbow injury. Treinen had little problem retiring both Padres he faced, striking out Greg Garcia on three pitches and inducing Trent Grisham to ground out on his first offering. Treinen has been a key component of the Dodgers' bullpen this season, posting a 2.42 ERA and 1.07 WHIP and notching eight holds over 22.1 innings.

Neris gave up a hit and a walk while striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday to record his fourth save of the season in a 4-1 win over the Mets.

Brandon Workman has been scored upon in each of his last two appearances, while Neris has a 0.90 ERA over his last 10 innings, so the pendulum may be swinging back his way in the Phillies' closer battle. That strong stretch hasn't erased his poor start, however -- on the season, Neris is still saddled with a 4.60 ERA, 1.79 WHIP and career-worst 11.6 percent walk rate.

The 24-year-old already underwent X-rays and an ultrasound with inconclusive results, and he scheduled to undergo an MRI on Wednesday. Ferguson should be considered day-to-day until more is known on the injury.

Morejon will start Wednesday's game against the Dodgers, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

The Friars are expected to employ a bullpen day in Wednesday's series finale, and Morejon will be the first reliever on the mound. The 21-year-old has a 2.53 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 14:2 K:BB through 10.2 innings this season.
