Blake Treinen RP | LAD
Dodgers' Blake Treinen: Slated for MRI
Manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that Treinen (shoulder) will undergo an MRI next week, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Treinen has been on the injured list for over two weeks, and he's still dealing with pain in his shoulder. The right-hander hasn't picked up a baseball since landing on the IL, so he'll likely require time to ramp up his intensity once he's ultimately cleared to resume throwing.

Camilo Doval RP | NYY
Giants' Camilo Doval: Handed first loss
Doval (0-1) took the loss during Friday's 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Cardinals, allowing one run on two hits with two strikeouts in 1.2 innings.
Doval recorded the final out of a tie game in the eighth with runners on first and third but surrendered a run on two hits in the ninth to fall in line for the loss. He was able to escape with only 16 pitches despite facing six batters and recording two strikeouts. Doval holds a 3.09 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with 16 strikeouts in 11.2 innings, but only has four saves with the most recent coming April 25.

Giovanny Gallegos RP | LAD
Cardinals' Giovanny Gallegos: Secures sixth save
Gallegos saved Friday's 3-2 win against San Francisco, allowing one hit in the ninth inning.
Gallegos let Thairo Estrada reach base with one out but ended the game with a double play to register his sixth seven in seven opportunities. Aside from a four-run appearance on April 25, Gallegos has limited the damage to one run in eight innings, with St. Louis prevailing in each of those appearances.

Ryan Helsley RP | BAL
Cardinals' Ryan Helsley: Dominant in relief win
Helsley (1-0) got the win in Friday's 3-2 victory over San Francisco, striking out four in 1.2 relief innings.
Helsley entered in the seventh with one on and one out and struck out both batters he faced, then recorded two more strikeouts in a scoreless eighth. The 27-year-old is yet to allow a run in 10 innings and has surrendered just one baserunner compared to 20 strikeouts.

Jordan Hicks RP | CHW
Cardinals' Jordan Hicks: Posts longest start yet
Hicks registered a no-decision during Friday's 3-2 win over the Giants, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks with five strikeouts in 4.1 innings.
Hicks held San Francisco's offense in check early but permitted the first two batters in the fifth to get on base, prompting his removal. Genesis Cabrera subsequently let both runners score, giving Hicks two earned runs allowed in three straight starts. After opening the season with two scoreless relief appearances, the 25-year-old has now allowed seven runs in 12.2 innings across four starts. He'll look to build on the career-high 4.1 innings and 68 pitches as he's scheduled to face Baltimore next week.

Collin McHugh RP | ATL
Braves' Collin McHugh: Stuck with loss Friday
McHugh (0-1) took the loss Friday as Atlanta fell 6-3 to the Brewers, giving up two runs on one hit and one walk in one-third of an inning.
The veteran right-hander took over for rookie Spencer Strider to begin the sixth inning in a 2-2 tie and quickly made a bit of a mess, and while the loss ended up going on McHugh's ledger, it was Tyler Matzek who allowed both inherited runners to score. McHugh has a sharp 16:3 K:BB through 10.1 innings over 10 appearances this season, and while his 6.10 ERA and 1.55 WHIP are rough, his 2.10 FIP indicates he deserves a better fate.

Josh Hader RP | HOU
Brewers' Josh Hader: Notches 11th save
Hader struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his 11th save of the season in a 6-3 win over Atlanta.
A brief bout of back spasms couldn't derail Hader, as he fired 15 of 19 pitches for strikes in his first appearance since April 27. The southpaw has yet to give up a run or blow a save so far this year, and batters have managed only two hits off Hader in 10.1 innings.

Steven Wilson RP | TB
Padres' Steven Wilson: Notches first save
Wilson saved Friday's 3-2 win against the Marlins, allowing one hit and one walk in the ninth inning.
With Taylor Rogers unavailable, manager Bob Melvin turned to the rookie Wilson for the save and the 27-year-old delivered despite some traffic on the bases. He let the first two batters reach base in the ninth inning but proceeded to retire the next three to secure the victory. In 12 games, Wilson has recorded 15 strikeouts compared to five walks in 12 innings with a 3.00 ERA.

Mark Melancon RP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Mark Melancon: One-out save
Melancon got the final out of Friday's 4-1 win against the Rockies, allowing one walk.
Melancon relieved starter Merrill Kelly with two out in the ninth and the tying run at the plate. He walked Sam Hilliard but induced a Jose Iglesias groundout to secure his fifth save. Though Melancon's allowed just one run through 8.1 innings, he's struck out only three batters and owns a high 1.32 WHIP.

Joan Adon SP | WAS
Nationals' Joan Adon: Drops third straight
Adon (1-5) allowed three runs on three hits and five walks over five innings Friday, striking out six and taking a loss against the Angels.
After an RBI groundout from Shohei Ohtani in the first inning, Adon turned in three scoreless frames. He then coughed up a two-run double to Mike Trout in the fifth. Both his six punchouts and five walks were the highest he's posted in a start this season. Adon will carry a 6.99 ERA into his projected home outing against the Mets next week.
