Jackson was acquired by the Pirates from the Dodgers on Sunday, and he was subsequently optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis.

Jackson was designated for assignment by Los Angeles earlier in the week and will now make his way to a new organization. The 27-year-old has a 6.62 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB across 17.2 frames in the big leagues this year.

Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said Sunday that Helsley (forearm) isn't close to being activated from the 15-day injured list, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

The 28-year-old was shut down from throwing for 10 days after landing on the injured list with a forearm strain June 12, and he'll need some time to build his arm back up after the shutdown period. A return after the All-Star break in mid-July still appears possible for Helsley, though he's without a clear target date for his return. Jordan Hicks has stepped in as St. Louis' primary closer in the interim, having recorded the club's past four saves.

Knehr was recalled from Triple-A El Paso on Sunday, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Knehr gave up five runs over three appearances for the Padres in April and will now rejoin the big club a couple months later. The 26-year-old has a 3.93 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 41:11 K:BB across 36.2 innings for El Paso this year.

Hicks (illness) picked up the save in Sunday's 7-5 win over the Cubs, allowing one run on one hit over one inning. He struck out two and didn't record a walk.

Hicks was deemed unavailable for the first contest in London due to an illness, but he was cleared ahead of Sunday's matchup and was called upon in the ninth inning with a three-run lead. Hicks worked around a leadoff double from Nick Madrigal to record his fourth save over the past eight days, running away with the closing job since Ryan Helsley (forearm) hit the injured list. Helsley isn't close to returning, so Hicks, who owns a 14.3 K/9 through 30 appearances, is a must-roster player in all fantasy formats moving forward.

Mears was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

Mears recovered from his oblique strain in early June but was sent to Triple-A after being activated from the injured list by the Rockies. He allowed two earned runs with eight strikeouts over six innings for Colorado before going down with the injury in mid-May.

Bracho was designated for assignment by the Reds on Sunday.

Bracho was called up from Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday and delivered two scoreless frames Saturday against Atlanta, but he lost his spot on the 40-man roster in favor of a fresh arm.

Wynne had his contract selected by the Reds on Sunday.

Wynne has a 5.12 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 18:7 K:BB across 31.2 innings at Triple-A Louisville this season, and he'll receive his first taste of the big leagues with the Reds needing bullpen help. He'll likely work as a low-leverage reliever.

Rogers (4-2) allowed a hit and struck out one over one scoreless inning to earn the win Saturday over the Diamondbacks.

Rogers' scoreless streak is now a month long, spanning 13 innings in which he's given up five hits and four walks while striking out 22. The impressive stretch has trimmed his ERA to 2.67 with a 1.07 WHIP and 34:13 K:BB over 27 innings this season. He's added a save and three holds, and he'd likely be first in line for a save chance Sunday since Camilo Doval has pitched three times in four days and Tyler Rogers has four appearances over the Giants' last five games.

Doval allowed a run on two hits and a walk while striking out one over one inning to earn the save in Saturday's 7-6 win over the Diamondbacks.

Doval was pitching for the third time in four days, which may explain some of the sloppiness. He was able to work through the danger to earn his 22nd save of the season. Doval hasn't gone on any exceptional scoreless streaks so far, often giving up a run once in every handful of appearances. He's still been a steady reliever with a 2.02 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 49:16 K:BB over 35.2 innings and just two blown saves on the year. Should a save chance surface Sunday, Taylor Rogers seems like the most likely candidate to close it out, as he threw just seven pitches over one inning to earn the win Saturday in his first appearance since Wednesday.

Winn allowed three runs on five hits and struck out three over three-plus innings versus the Diamondbacks on Saturday. He did not factor in the decision.

Winn left his bulk-relief assignment with a lead, but Sean Manaea couldn't maintain the lead in the fifth inning. This was the shortest of Winn's three appearances this season, and also the first in which he's given up multiple runs. He's pitched to a 3.75 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 9:3 K:BB over 12 innings while serving as a multi-inning reliever. The 25-year-old right-hander continues to be one of a handful of options to pitch behind an opener as the Giants utilize bullpen days, though he could also end up back at Triple-A Sacramento once Ross Stripling (back) returns from the injured list.
