Feyereisen recorded his 12th hold in a win over the Red Sox on Monday, allowing a hit and recording two strikeouts across 1.1 scoreless innings.

Feyereisen was activated from the injured list earlier in the day after overcoming biceps and shoulder issues and immediately proved his health with a sharp 19-pitch outing. Now that he's back in the fold, Feyereisen should enjoy steady work moving forward although his significant control issues (5.4 BB/9) may limit the amount of high-leverage assignments he sees.

King (finger) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.

King has been out since early July with a bruised finger. He'll likely need a handful of rehab appearances given the length of his absence.

Thornton was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday.

Thornton owns an unremarkable 4.60 ERA in 47 major-league innings this season. He allowed four runs on 11 hits in 7.2 innings of work during his latest stint with the team. He'll head to the minors as the Blue Jays clear a spot for Danny Jansen (hamstring) to return from the injured list.

Hand was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays on Tuesday, Mitch Bannon of SI.com reports.

Hand was eligible to return from the bereavement list, but the Blue Jays elected not to clear a spot for him on the active roster. It's quite the fall from grace for the veteran lefty, who has 126 saves to his name, including 21 this season. All of his saves this year came prior to being traded from Washington to Toronto. Following the move to the Blue Jays, Hand allowed 10 runs (seven earned) in 8.2 innings while striking out just five batters, though his past success would suggest he still has a good chance of being claimed off waivers.

Yang was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday.

Yang was recalled last Tuesday and wound up making one appearance, allowing two hits across two scoreless innings against the Astros on Saturday. He'll return to Round Rock for the time being but figures to be an option to rejoin the major-league squad when rosters expand to 28 on Wednesday.

Bolanos (elbow) moved his rehab assignment to Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday.

On the injured list since June 15 with a right flexor strain, Bolanos was cleared to head out on a minor-league rehab assignment just under two months later. After starting his rehab in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League, Bolanos made his past three appearances at Double-A Northwest Arkansas, covering 6.1 total innings while serving up six runs (five earned) on seven hits and eight walks. He'll likely be in store for at least a couple appearances at Triple-A before the Royals consider bringing him back from the 60-day IL.

The Royals recalled Junis from Triple-A Omaha to start Tuesday's game against Cleveland, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.

The righty has pitched well in his last two outings for Omaha, striking out six and allowing three hits in 7.1 scoreless innings. Junis is unlikely to pitch deep into Tuesday's game, as it's his first big-league appearance since June 3 and he hasn't lasted more than 4.1 frames in an outing since returning from injury at Triple-A. He was unimpressive earlier this season with the Royals, posting a 5.19 ERA and 1.44 WHIP in 34.2 innings.

Robertson has been added to Tampa Bay's taxi squad and is expected to be called up from Triple-A Durham when rosters expand to 28 players Wednesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Robertson inked a minor-league contract with the Rays on Aug. 16. Tommy John surgery has limited the veteran right-hander to just seven major-league innings since the beginning of 2019, but his excellent track record still makes him an intriguing addition to an already-strong bullpen. Robertson figures to see the bulk of his work in lower-leverage innings initially, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him earn some work in key spots if he's able to pitch well during his first few outings.

The Astros sent Scrubb (shoulder) to the rookie-level Florida Complex League to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday.

After being deactivated July 19 due to a strained left shoulder before being moved to the 60-day injured list, Scrubb won't be eligible to rejoin the Astros until the second half of September. With that in mind, he'll likely be in store for an extended minor-league rehab assignment that will presumably include stops at multiple affiliates. If he makes it back to Houston before season's end, Scrubb will likely be relegated to low-leverage work out of the bullpen.

Tate (0-4) allowed three runs on three hits and a walk in two-thirds of an inning, taking the loss Monday versus Toronto.

The 27-year-old got the last out of the fifth inning, but struggled when he came back to the mound in the sixth. Tate allowed a game-tying RBI single to Bo Bichette and a two-run double to Teoscar Hernandez before Marcos Diplan was called upon to finish the frame. The ugly outing Monday ended a 7.2-inning scoreless streak for Tate. He has a 4.58 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 44:21 K:BB across 55 innings this season.
