Sands was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Sands was called up Friday, but he didn't appear in the team's win over the Athletics. He'll head back to the minors since Sonny Gray (hamstring) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list prior to Saturday's start.

Otto and the Rangers won't play Saturday against the Yankees after the game was postponed due to inclement weather.

Otto's scheduled start will be pushed back once again after a second consecutive game was called off due to inclement weather. Although Saturday's game will be made up Monday, Otto will start in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader against the Yankees, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Pagan gave up a hit and walked two batters in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to record his third save of the season in a 2-1 win over the A's. He struck out two.

After loading the bases with one out, Pagan was able to escape the jam on a Seth Brown fielder's choice that retired Sheldon Neuse at the plate, before the right-hander fanned Chad Pinder to end the contest. Pagan has a seemingly respectable 2.35 ERA through 7.2 innings and has converted three of four save chances, but his ghastly 25.0 percent walk rate highlights just how close to disaster he's come on multiple occasions. If the veteran can't sharpen his control, it could be only a matter of time before rookie flamethrower Jhoan Duran takes over the closer role for the Twins.

Winder (2-0) picked up the win in Friday's 2-1 victory over the A's, giving up only one unearned run on three hits over six innings. He struck out eight without walking a batter.

Making just his second big-league start, Winder delivered his second straight quality start while once again dominating the opposition, and a Jorge Polanco error in the sixth inning was the only reason Oakland got on the board at all. Winder got his chance to join the rotation when Bailey Ober (groin) landed on the injured list, but the rookie doesn't seem inclined to head back to the bullpen any time soon. Winder will take a 1.61 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 20:4 K:BB through 22.1 innings into his next outing.

Logue (1-1) took the loss Friday, giving up two runs on five hits and two walks over five innings as the A's were downed 2-1 by the Twins. He struck out five.

Solo home runs by Jose Miranda and Byron Buxton accounted for all the damage off Logue, but that was enough to hand the southpaw his first MLB loss. He tossed 56 of 90 pitches for strikes, and with Cole Irvin (shoulder) potentially out for another couple weeks, Logue will likely get another turn or two through the rotation.

Sewald (0-1) allowed three runs on three hits in one inning during Friday's 8-7 loss to the Rays. He struck out one and was charged with a blown save and a loss.

Sewald was tasked with preserving a one-run lead in the ninth inning but he coughed up a one-out, three-run blast to Manuel Margot. He had thrown six perfect innings with eight strikeouts to begin the year but he saw his ERA jump to 3.86 after Friday's outing. It was Sewald's first save chance of the season and his performance likely won't earn him many more opportunities in the near future.

Fleming yielded two runs on four hits and three walks over 2.2 innings in Friday's victory against Seattle. He struck out one batter and did not factor in the decision.

Fleming entered the game in the third inning after Matt Wisler allowed two runs in two frames as the opener. The former let four of the first five batters in the fourth inning reach base, with the lone out being Abraham Toro's RBI sacrifice fly. The 25-year-old saw his ERA rise slightly from 6.32 to 6.38. Fleming is expected to face the Angels on the road next week.

Raley tossed a clean inning and earned a save over the Mariners on Friday.

Raley entered the game to protect an 8-7 lead after Ryan Thompson served up a solo home run to Eugenio Suarez to lead off the ninth inning. The 33-year-old southpaw needed just nine pitches to retire three straight batters and pick up his second save in as many days. Raley has registered a 2.25 ERA with three saves and a 10:1 K:BB through eight innings this season.

Iglesias struck out one batter in a perfect inning while earning a save over the Nationals on Friday.

Iglesias needed just six pitches to finish off Friday's 3-0 win, including a three-pitch strikeout of Keibert Ruiz to end the contest. It was his first appearance since nearly blowing a save against the White Sox on May 1, but he's now converted all seven of his save chances this season. The veteran righty is sporting a 2.53 ERA and 14:2 K:BB through 10.2 frames.

Brieske (0-2) allowed three runs on five hits and three walks over five innings Friday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Astros.

All three runs against Brieske came in the second inning when he coughed up back-to-back homers to Chas McCormick and Martin Maldonado. He's now tossed exactly five innings in each of his first three career MLB starts. The 24-year-old rookie saw his ERA climb to 4.20 with a 9:7 K:BB. Brieske is currently in line to face the Athletics at home next week.
