Marinaccio (1-0) earned the win over the Cubs on Friday, pitching a scoreless inning during which he allowed one walk and struck out one batter.

Runs were tough to come by for both teams in the contest -- so much so that neither the Yankees nor the Cubs were able to score through three extra frames despite starting off each of those innings with a designated runner. Marinaccio was responsible for fending off Chicago in the top of the 13th, and he did so successfully by retiring three straight batters after issuing a walk to begin the inning. The rookie right-hander was then credited with his first win in the majors when the Yankees walked off with a victory in the bottom of the frame. Marinaccio also has one hold this season, but he has been used primarily in low-leverage situations.

Kittredge (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Saturday, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Kittredge was placed on the 15-day injured list Thursday, but with him set to undergo Tommy John surgery, the Rays moved him to the longer of the injured lists to open up a spot on the 40-man roster. Kittredge's recovery period will likely take around a year, so don't expect to see him back with the big club until the summer of 2023.

Jimenez (2-4) blew the save and took the loss Friday against the Guardians after allowing three runs on two hits over one-third of an inning.

Jimenez entered the game in the ninth inning after starter Paul Blackburn left him a two-run lead. The closer was unable to hold on, giving up a solo shot to Jose Ramirez, followed by two sacrifice flies. It's been a rough start to June for the reliever as he already has two losses in three appearances this month. If he does not turn things around, Jimenez may lose his grip on the closer role.

Smeltzer (3-0) picked up the win in Friday's 9-4 victory over the Rays, giving up three runs on four hits and three walks over six-plus innings. He struck out three.

All three runs off Smeltzer came on a trio of solo shots, with two of them coming back-to-back to lead off the seventh inning, but the Twins had already built a 7-1 lead at that point. The quality start was the third in six outings for the southpaw, and Smeltzer sports a 2.38 ERA and 0.97 WHIP despite a poor 12.5 percent strikeout rate through 34 innings.

Swanson (elbow) struck out one in a perfect inning during Friday's 4-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Swanson missed a month with right elbow inflammation. He was effective in his return, throwing 17 pitches (12 strikes) to complete his first inning since May 10. Prior to his stint on the injured list, he gave up runs in consecutive outings, though those were the first runs on his ledger all year. He owns a 1.20 ERA, 0.73 WHIP, 22:1 K:BB and three holds in 15 innings across 14 appearances overall, so he could be in line for some high-leverage work.

Lopez allowed a hit while striking out three batters over two shutout frames as the opener during Friday's win over the Rangers.

Lopez coughed up a single to Sam Huff in the second inning but was otherwise perfect in his short outing. He lowered his season ERA to 3.96 through 25 frames. It was the first time that he completed at least two innings since May 26.

Heasley (1-3) allowed one hit over seven shutout innings Friday, striking out seven and recording a win over the Orioles.

Heasley was terrific Friday, coughing up just one single while throwing 64 of 93 pitches for strikes. He retired the final 12 batters he faced after Trey Mancini reached base on an error in the fourth frame. Heasley lowered his ERA to 3.62 with a 22:18 K:BB through 32.1 innings this season. The 25-year-old is lined up to start in San Francisco next week.

Zimmermann (2-5) allowed seven runs on 10 hits over 4.2 innings Friday, striking out two and taking a loss against the Royals.

Zimmermann got off to a poor start by yielding three runs in the first inning, including a two-run shot from Salvador Perez. He later coughed up an RBI double to Perez in the fourth followed by MJ Melendez's three-run homer in the fifth. Over his last five starts, Zimmerman has allowed 27 runs over 25.2 frames (9.47 ERA) with a 1.68 WHIP. The 27-year-old is projected to take the mound in Toronto next week.

Jurado (elbow) was reinstated from the 7-day injured list at Triple-A St. Paul on Friday, Brandon Warne of Access Twins reports.

Jurado spent the start of the season recovering from Tommy John surgery but has been cleared to return to game action in St. Paul. The right-hander made a rehab appearance at Single-A Fort Myers on Sunday and allowed a hit and two walks while striking out four in four scoreless innings.

Misiewicz was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Friday, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

He makes way for Erik Swanson (elbow) to return from the injured list. Misiewicz hasn't had a particularly strong season, posting a 4.61 ERA and 8:6 K:BB in 13.2 innings of work.
