Garcia cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Garcia will remain in the Orioles' organization after he was designated for assignment Sunday. The right-hander has a 4.50 ERA and 1.38 WHIP through eight innings at the major-league level this year. Since he's not on the 40-man roster anymore, it seems unlikely he'll make his way back to the majors in 2022.

Hendriks pitched a perfect inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Rockies.

Hendriks threw just four of nine pitches for strikes, but he got Charlie Blackmon and Brendan Rodgers on groundouts before Randal Grichuk lined out to end the game. Hendriks has thrown three straight scoreless innings to bounce back from a span in which he allowed five runs (four earned) over five innings in late August and early September. The 33-year-old closer is now 33-for-37 in save chances while sporting a 3.18 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 73:13 K:BB through 51 innings this year.

Peralta picked up the save Tuesday against Boston. He allowed no earned runs on one hit and no walks while striking out one over two-thirds of an inning.

Peralta entered the game up 7-4 with one out and two runners on in the 10th inning. He allowed a single and a sacrifice fly to score both inherited runners but struck out Rafael Devers to end the game and record his fourth save of the season and first since Aug. 23. Peralta has been effective for the Yankees, as he owns a 2.41 ERA and 1.00 WHIP through 56 innings this season.

Holmes (6-3) earned the win in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-inning victory over Boston. He allowed two runs (one earned) on no hits and no walks while striking out one over 1.1 innings.

Holmes entered the game with the score tied 4-4 in the bottom of the ninth and recorded a clean inning to send it to extras, but he ran into trouble in the 10th after the Yankees took a 7-4 lead. He was pulled after hitting a batter and then getting an out in the 10th in favor of Wandy Peralta for a lefty-on-lefty matchup. Peralta allowed a base hit and a wild pitch to score the ghost runner and McGuire to make it a 7-6 game. Peralta worked out of it, however, and it all earned Holmes his sixth win of the season. Holmes has been shaky of late, as he has allowed 11 runs (nine earned) in 12.1 innings dating back to July 31.

Pivetta did not factor into the decision Tuesday's extra-inning loss against the Yankees, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out five.

Pivetta threw four clean innings but was damaged by the home run. He allowed a two-run shot off the bat of Marwin Gonzalez in the third and a solo homer from Aaron Judge in the sixth before he was pulled with one out and two runners on base. Pivetta has been inconsistent this season, as he has surrendered three or more runs in 13 of his 29 starts, including five starts of five or more runs. However, he still owns a manageable 4.29 ERA through 160.2 innings.

Pressly earned the save Tuesday in Detroit, striking out the side in the ninth inning of a 6-3 victory.

Facing the middle third of Detroit's lineup, Pressly needed 13 pitches to record three strikeouts. It was his 27th save of the season and second since returning from a stint on the injured list with a neck issue. Over his last 20 outings he's struck out 50 percent of the batters he's faced and compiled a 2.18 ERA, 0.48 WHIP and 36:5 K:BB in 20.2 innings.

Bautista picked up the save Tuesday against the Nationals. He allowed no hits and one walk while striking out two over one scoreless inning.

In his first appearance since sitting out a few days due to arm fatigue, Bautista worked around a leadoff walk to pitch a scoreless ninth inning and earn his 13th save of the season. The 27-year-old is 13-for-14 in save opportunities with a 1.60 ERA on the season. He should remain the top option for saves in Baltimore as long as his arm holds up.

Clase earned the save Tuesday against the Angels, striking out two and allowing a hit in the ninth inning of a 3-1 win.

Clase allowed a two-out infield hit but finished off the game with a three-pitch strikeout to record his 35th save. Six of his 16 pitches were 100 miles per hour or faster. Since the All-Star break, he's converted 16 of 17 save opportunities and has a 1.16 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 23:4 K:BB in 23.1 innings.

Voth will pitch out of the bullpen behind starter Tyler Wells against the Nationals on Wednesday, Zachary Silver of MLB.com reports.

Voth has been an effective starter since being claimed off waivers by Baltimore with 2.79 ERA and 55:19 K:BB across 61.1 innings, but he'll work as a piggyback option Wednesday. The 30-year-old has allowed three runs over 7.1 frames in his past two starts, and the Orioles are looking to limit his workload down the stretch since he's on pace to crack 100 innings for the first time since 2018.

Alexy was sent back down to Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday.

Alexy was called up to serve as Texas' 29th man during Monday's doubleheader. He pitched one-third of an inning and gave up four earned runs in a nightcap loss to Miami. Alexy may finish the season in Round Rock following his shaky performance.
