Bailey is absent from the starting lineup for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against Colorado.

Bailey caught Game 1 and went 1-for-4 at the plate with a go-ahead two-RBI double off Justin Lawrence in the seventh inning. Bailey will give way to Curt Casali behind the dish for the nightcap.

The Blue Jays traded Jansen to the Red Sox on Saturday in exchange for infielders Cutter Coffey and Eddinson Paulino and right-hander Gilberto Batista.

Jansen has split catching duties with Alejandro Kirk this season, logging 228 plate appearances across 61 games. Jansen has had a down season at the plate, posting his worst OPS (.672) and ISO (.157) since 2020 with a .212 batting average. He'll likely notice a decrease in playing time with the Red Sox, as Connor Wong is in the midst of a career season behind the dish with an .802 OPS. Instead, Jansen will likely supplant Reese McGuire as Wong's top backup, though Jansen could also see some at-bats at designated hitter.

Lee is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Mariners.

Lee went 0-for-3 in Friday's 10-0 loss to Seattle. He'll begin Saturday's contest in the dugout while Chuckie Robinson starts behind home plate and bats ninth.

The Yankees acquired Ramirez and infielders Jared Serna and Abrahan Ramirez from the Marlins on Saturday in exchange for Jazz Chisholm, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Ramirez is viewed as the headliner of the Marlins' three-player return package. The 22-year-old catcher slashed .224/.328/.364 with four home runs and five stolen bases in 125 plate appearances with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre since getting promoted from Double-A Somerset in June. With Austin Wells, Jose Trevino and Carlos Narvaez ahead of him on the organizational catching depth chart in New York, Ramirez wasn't on track to make his MLB debut in the near future, but the move to Miami could expedite his arrival to the big leagues. Nick Fortes and Ali Sanchez have been sharing catching duties for the Marlins, but both have OPSes under .500 for the season.

Naylor is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Philadelphia.

Naylor will get a breather Saturday after going 1-for-3 with one RBI and two strikeouts in Friday's 3-1 win over Philadelphia. Austin Hedges will start behind home plate Saturday and bat ninth against Phillies right-hander Tyler Phillips.

Kelly is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Minnesota.

Kelly will take a seat Saturday after going 1-for-2 with one walk and one run scored in Friday's 9-3 loss to Minnesota. Jake Rogers will start at catcher Saturday and bat eighth against Twins right-hander Joe Ryan.

Alvarez isn't in the Mets' lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

Alvarez broke his streak of 20 games without a home run by hitting a solo shot during Friday's contest, and he'll now take a seat while Luis Torrens catches for Tylor Megill.

Wells went 3-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 9-7 loss to the Red Sox.

Wells has been one of the few Yankees to come out of the All-Star break hot -- he's now 8-for-17 (.471) with a pair of home runs in his last five games. The 25-year-old catcher's boosted his slash line to .235/.342/.412 with eight homers, 23 RBI and 28 runs scored across 223 plate appearances while taking over the starting job behind the plate in New York.

Rortvedt is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Cincinnati, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

With the Reds sending southpaw Andrew Abbott to the mound Saturday, the lefty-hitting Rortvedt will begin the game on the bench. Alex Jackson will start at catcher for the third straight game while batting ninth.

Alvarez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's win over Atlanta.

His third-inning shot off Charlie Morton capped a seven-run frame for the Mets and chased the veteran right-hander from the game. Alvarez snapped a 20-game homerless drought with the blast, a stretch in which he batted just .215 (14-for-65) with five RBI. Despite the power outage, the 22-year-old backstop has an impressive .273/.342/.448 slash line on the season in 51 contests.
