Raleigh went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two walks in a win over the Reds on Wednesday.

Several Mariners hitters enjoyed solid offensive performances Wednesday, but Raleigh set the pace with his three trips on the basepaths. That included the backstop's co-team-high third homer of the season, which erased an early 1-0 deficit for Seattle in the second inning. Raleigh has now reached safely in five straight games, and a career-high 13.1 percent walk rate has helped him get to a .311 on-base percentage despite an uninspiring .208 average.

Wong went 2-for-3 with a solo home run during Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Guardians.

Wong clubbed a home run for a second consecutive contest, bringing his season total to three -- all of which have come in the past five games. He's also notched multiple hits in three consecutive contests and is slugging .676 with a 1.048 OPS in 35 plate appearances.

McGuire isn't in Boston's lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

McGuire is just 2-for-13 across his last five games, so he'll sit out Wednesday while Connor Wong starts behind the plate and bats sixth.

Maldonado isn't in the White Sox's lineup for the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Royals.

Maldonado went 0-for-2 with two strikeouts during Game 1, lowering his batting average down to .061. He'll be replaced behind the dish by Korey Lee, who will bat eighth.

Rortvedt is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.

The lefty-hitting Rortvedt will give way to the righty-hitting Rene Pinto behind the plate while southpaw Reid Detmers takes the hill for the Angels. Rortvedt appears to have secured a strong-side platoon role at catcher after posting an .852 OPS through his first 31 plate appearances of the season.

Naylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Boston.

Naylor caught the previous two games for the Guardians but will give way to Austin Hedges on Wednesday. The young catcher is slashing .186/.327/.326 with two home runs and a 9:20 BB:K over his first 52 plate appearances this season.

Pirates manager Derek Shelton said Bart was scratched from the lineup ahead of Wednesday's 9-1 loss to the Mets after the catcher wasn't feeling well leading up to game time, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

While elaborating on the matter, Shelton noted that Bart was hit in the head by a ball during batting practice a few days ago, but the Pirates had fully expected the 27-year-old to be ready to catch for Wednesday's series finale. However, in light of Bart being scratched prior to first pitch a few days after taking the hit to the head, it's possible that the catcher is dealing with symptoms of a concussion. The Pirates haven't explicitly said that Bart is in concussion protocol at this time, so he'll be considered day-to-day heading into this weekend's three-game series with the Red Sox.

Moreno (thumb) was scratched from the Diamondbacks' lineup ahead of Wednesday's contest against the Cubs, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Moreno had been slated to rejoin the lineup after not starting in Tuesday's 12-11 extra-inning win due to a right thumb contusion, but he's been scratched for the second day in a row. He entered Tuesday's contest as a defensive replacement, but evidently swinging a bat still remains an issue. Consider the catcher day-to-day for the time being. Tucker Barnhart will once again fill in behind the plate.

Amaya is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Amaya will head to the bench after he started at catcher over the past two games while going 3-for-8 with two extra-base knocks, two RBI and one run. Yan Gomes will be behind the dish Wednesday, but he and Amaya look poised to operate in a timeshare for the foreseeable future.

Naylor went 1-for-5 with a walk and a stolen base in Tuesday's 10-7 extra-innings win over the Red Sox.

This was Naylor's first steal of the year, which came on his second attempt. The catcher has struggled to get things going at the plate, hitting just .186 with a .653 OPS, two home runs, five RBI and four runs scored over 52 plate appearances. He plays against most right-handed pitchers, but Austin Hedges and David Fry continues to draw in for Naylor behind the dish regularly versus southpaws.
