    Reds' Jose Trevino: Comes up clutch with two RBI

    Trevino went 1-for-3 with a sacrifice fly and an RBI single in Sunday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Brewers.

    Trevino brought home the first run of the game with a sac fly to right field in the seventh, and he came up clutch in the ninth with an RBI single to send the game to extra innings. He has logged a hit in four of his last six starts and has gone 6-for-23 (.261) with three runs and four RBI over that span. Trevino has seen a recent uptick in starts behind home plate with Tyler Stephenson idle in each of the Reds' last two games.

    Goodman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

    Goodman will get a breather after he started at catcher in each of the first three games of the series while going 3-for-10 with a solo home run, a double, two walks and an additional run. Braxton Fulford will handle catching duties for the Rockies in the series finale.

    McCann is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

    McCann will head to the bench for the second time in the series while Jose Herrera receives a turn behind the plate. Arizona continues to lean on a three-man committee at catcher that also includes Adrian Del Castillo, who has typically been serving as Arizona's designated hitter but has made three starts as a backstop.

    Davis will take a seat for a second straight game while Joey Bart picks up another start behind the plate. Since the All-Star break, Davis is slashing just .098/.220/.157 with a 30 percent strikeout rate, and his ongoing struggles may be starting to cost him playing time.

    Stephenson will take a seat for the second day in a row while the Reds go with Jose Trevino behind the plate. Since the start of August, Stephenson has gone just 3-for-27 at the plate, dropping his batting average to .226 for the season.

    Baldwin is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

    Baldwin has an .803 OPS with two homers and 12 RBI through 12 games in August, but he'll sit against Cleveland lefty Logan Allen on Sunday. Sean Murphy will do the catching for Atlanta righty Erick Fedde while batting seventh.

    Hicks is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

    Hicks will be joined on the bench by fellow left-handed hitters Troy Johnston, Jakob Marsee and Graham Pauley while southpaw Garrett Crochet takes the hill for Boston. With Hicks out of the lineup, Heriberto Hernandez will serve as the Marlins' designated hitter.

    Adams will get a breather after he started three straight games while going 3-for-10 with a double, two walks, a stolen base and a run scored. He'll give way to Drew Millas behind the dish.

  • Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: Receiving rest Sunday

    Realmuto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

    With the series finale in Washington beginning at 11:35 a.m. ET, Realmuto will get a chance to catch his breath after he went 2-for-4 while playing eight innings behind the dish in Saturday's 2-0 win. Rafael Marchan will handle the catching duties for Philadelphia on Sunday.
