Dodgers' Chuckie Robinson: Selected from OKC
The Dodgers selected Robinson's contract from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday.
The 31-year-old will join the big club for the first time this season to make up for the loss of Will Smith, who landed on the injured list Thursday with neck inflammation. Robinson owns a .763 OPS through 84 plate appearances at Triple-A this season but isn't likely to receive many at-bats with the Dodgers while working as a backup to Dalton Rushing.

Dodgers' Chuckie Robinson: Promotion coming
The Dodgers will select Robinson's contract from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Robinson will return to the majors as the roster replacement for Will Smith (neck), who is set to move to the injured list. Robinson has slashed .274/.338/.466 across 80 plate appearances while spending the entire season at Triple-A, though he isn't likely to receive many reps in the big leagues while Dalton Rushing works as the primary catcher.

Dodgers' Chuckie Robinson: Sent out of big-league camp
The Dodgers reassigned Robinson to minor-league camp Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Robinson logged two plate appearances in the majors with the Dodgers last season, but after re-signing with the organization on a minor-league deal over the winter, he never seemed like a realistic candidate to crack the Opening Day roster. The journeyman backstop is expected to begin the season at Triple-A Oklahoma City and will likely need either Will Smith or Dalton Rushing to succumb to an injury before he gets another big-league call-up.

Dodgers' Chuckie Robinson: Signs with Dodgers
The Dodgers signed Robinson to a minor-league contract Dec. 18.
Robinson spent most of 2025 at the Triple-A level but did appear in one game with the Dodgers before being removed from their 40-man roster. The 31-year-old will give the organization some experienced catching depth at Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Braves' Chuckie Robinson: Scrubbed from 40-man roster
Atlanta outrighted Robinson to Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday.
He'll have the opportunity to elect free agency if he wants. Robinson holds a career .131/.169/.192 slash line over 138 plate appearances in parts of three seasons in the majors.

Braves' Chuckie Robinson: Joins new organization
Atlanta claimed Robinson off waivers from the Dodgers on Sunday and optioned him to Triple-A Gwinnett.
Gwinnett's season came to an end Sunday, so unless Atlanta recalls him at some point during the final week of the campaign, Robinson will have to wait until 2026 to make his organizational debut. The 30-year-old catcher holds a career .131/.169/.192 slash line over 138 plate appearances in parts of three seasons in the majors across stops with the Reds, White Sox and Dodgers.

Dodgers' Chuckie Robinson: Back in OKC
The Dodgers optioned Robinson to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
Robinson joined the big club Saturday when Will Smith (hand) landed on the IL, but his services are no longer needed now that Dalton Rushing (shin) is healthy. Robinson will likely finish the year at Triple-A, where he's slashed .261/.330/.368 with 46 RBI and 41 runs scored through 75 games.

Dodgers' Chuckie Robinson: Summoned to Los Angeles
The Dodgers recalled Robinson from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday.
Robinson's presence on the big-league roster is needed with Will Smith (hand) landing on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Robinson has a career .364 OPS over 51 major-league games, so fantasy managers need not rush to the waiver wire to pick him up. He's slated to work as the Dodgers' backup catcher behind Ben Rortvedt until Dalton Rushing (shin) or Smith is ready to return from the IL.

Dodgers' Chuckie Robinson: Optioned to Triple-A
The Dodgers optioned Robinson to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday.
Robinson was called up by the Dodgers on Saturday to serve as an emergency catcher due to the absences of Will Smith (hand) and Dalton Rushing (shin). Even with Rushing on the 10-day IL and Smith day-to-day with his injury, the Dodgers needed to make room on the 28-man roster for a returning Max Muncy (oblique). Robinson will head back to Oklahoma City, where he has slashed .259/.344/.361 with four home runs and 28 RBI in 189 plate appearances.

Dodgers' Chuckie Robinson: Back in majors
The Dodgers selected Robinson's contract from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Robinson will join the Dodgers as emergency catcher depth due to the fact both Will Smith (hand) and Dalton Rushing (shin) are battling injuries. Ben Rortvedt is likely to receive the bulk of starts behind the dish until one of the injured backstops returns.

Dodgers' Chuckie Robinson: Sticks with Dodgers
Robinson was outrighted to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday.
Robinson cleared waivers and will now stick in the Dodgers' organization after being designated for assignment Tuesday. He's unlikely to find his way to the majors barring an injury, with Will Smith and Dalton Rushing atop the team's depth chart at catcher.

Dodgers' Chuckie Robinson: Pushed off 40-man
The Dodgers designated Robinson for assignment Tuesday.
Just three days after being claimed off waivers from the Angels, Robinson will find himself on the waiver wire once again as the roster casualty necessary to clear 40-man space for Jose Urena. Robinson, 30, is slashing .272/.315/.388 through 112 plate appearances in Triple-A but owns just a .364 OPS in his MLB career.

Dodgers' Chuckie Robinson: Claimed off waivers by Dodgers
The Dodgers claimed Robinson off waivers Saturday.
Robinson was DFA'd by the Angels on Wednesday, but he'll remain in Los Angeles after being picked up by the Dodgers. The 30-year-old catcher slashed .272/.315/.388 with one home run and 18 RBI over 112 plate appearances with Triple-A Salt Lake this season. Robinson will likely remain in the minors, but he could receive a call up to the big leagues if Will Smith or Dalton Rushing were to miss time. Tyler Glasnow (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day IL in a corresponding move to make room on the 40-man roster for Robinson.

Angels' Chuckie Robinson: Jettisoned from 40-man roster
The Angels designated Robinson for assignment Wednesday.
The Angels DFA'd Robinson and Tim Anderson, which made room on the 40-man roster for Scott Kingery and Robert Stephenson (elbow). Robinson was traded by the White Sox to the Angels in December, but the 30-year-old catcher was unable to crack the Halos' Opening Day roster. Robinson is slashing .272/.315/.388 with one home run and 18 RBI across 112 plate appearances in Triple-A this season, and he could garner interest from teams looking to add depth behind the plate.

Angels' Chuckie Robinson: Moved to Triple-A
The Angels optioned Robinson to Triple-A Salt Lake on Wednesday.
After slashing .154/.371/.192 across 36 spring plate appearances, Robinson will head back to Triple-A to begin 2025, leaving Logan O'Hoppe and Travis d'Arnaud as the Halos' big-league backstops. Robinson owns just a .364 OPS across 136 plate appearances in his MLB career, so he'll likely need a drastic turnaround in Salt Lake to have any hope of returning to Anaheim in 2025.

Angels' Chuckie Robinson: Traded to Halos
The Angels acquired Robinson from the White Sox on Wednesday in exchange for cash considerations.
The White Sox have acquired Kyle Teel and Matt Thaiss over the last week, so they had a surplus of catching depth. With Logan O'Hoppe and Travis d'Arnaud projected to be the Angels' catching duo in the majors, Robinson is likely to begin the 2025 season as depth at Triple-A Salt Lake.

White Sox's Chuckie Robinson: Retreats to bench Monday
Robinson is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.
After filling in behind the plate for a resting Korey Lee in Sunday's 2-0 loss to the Mets, Robinson will return to his usual bench role for the series opener in Baltimore. Since getting called up from Triple-A Charlotte on July 19 to replace Martin Maldonado as the White Sox's No. 2 catcher, Robinson has picked up just 12 starts while batting .152 with no extra-base hits.

White Sox's Chuckie Robinson: First start since 2022
Robinson went 1-for-3 against the Royals on Saturday.
Robinson was recalled to the majors Friday and made his first big-league appearance since 2022 on Saturday. He'll remain the backup to Korey Lee behind the plate but should have a chance to stick in the majors after Martin Maldonado was designated for assignment.

White Sox's Chuckie Robinson: Recalled from Triple-A
The White Sox recalled Robinson from Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.
The 29-year-old is taking over as the backup catcher behind Korey Lee after Martin Maldonado was designated for assignment. Robinson has a .407 OPS in 25 career games at the big-league level, but he has flashed a bit of power with 20 homers and a .275/.335/.428 slash line in 155 Triple-A games over the last two seasons.
