Raleigh is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Astros.

Raleigh started the first two games of the series but has a .403 OPS over his past 26 at-bats and will take a seat for Wednesday's contest. Mitch Garver will step in behind the plate while Mitch Haniger serves as the desigated hitter.

Naylor isn't in the Guardians' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies.

The Rockies will send lefty Ty Blach to the mound to begin Wednesday's contest, so the left-handed bat of Naylor will retreat to the bench. Austin Hedges will step in to play catcher while batting eighth.

Maldonado will start at catcher and bat ninth in Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Korey Lee remains the White Sox's No. 1 backstop, but he'll serve as the designated hitter Wednesday to open up a start behind the plate for Maldonado. The 37-year-old backstop has gone hitless in his last six starts and carries a lowly .083/.135/.131 slash line into Wednesday's contest.

Jansen is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox.

Jansen will get some routine maintenance in the series finale after he started at catcher in each of the Blue Jays' last three games. Alejandro Kirk will spell Jansen behind the dish.

Rutschman is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.

Rutschman often starts at designated hitter on days he doesn't catch, but he'll be given a true day off Wednesday, barring a pinch-hitting appearance. It's just the fourth day off this season for the 26-year-old. James McCann will pick up the start at catcher.

Rogers is out of the lineup for the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Pirates, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Rogers will take a seat for the second game of the day after he was behind the plate for all nine innings of the Tigers' 8-0 win earlier in the day. He went 2-for-3 with a walk, a run and an RBI and has now reached base at least once in each of his last five starts. Carson Kelly will draw the start for the second game of the day, but Rogers has performed well enough of late to at the very least keep himself in a timeshare at catcher.

Langeliers went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in a win over the Rays on Tuesday.

The power-hitting backstop showed off his wheels Tuesday, recording his second steal on three attempts this season following an eighth-inning, two-out walk. Langeliers' .210 average and .280 on-base percentage on the season have plenty of room for improvement, but he carries an exponentially better .277/.365/.631 slash line that's partly constituted of 11 extra-base hits (four doubles, two triples, five home runs) and has recorded 14 RBI across his last 19 games.

Kelly isn't in the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Pirates.

The Tigers will have Jake Rogers behind the plate for the opening game, catching for Tarik Skubal. Kelly should be behind the plate for the second game.

Wong went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Orioles.

Wong swiped his first bag of the season in the fifth inning then produced an insurance run with an eighth-inning single. The catcher, who batted .235 last season, continued a breakout at the dish and is batting .324 with an .836 OPS over 136 plate appearances. A .364 BABIP portends a correction is coming, but Wong is making more consistent contact and nearly halved his strikeout percentage, from 33.3 percent in 2023 to 17.6 percent in 2024.

Kelly is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates.

Kelly will yield to Jake Rogers behind the dish Tuesday against righty Jared Jones. Kelly garnered a hit in each of his last three games played, including a three-run homer Sunday.
