Wong is out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Colorado, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Wong had started each of the last four games, so it's no surprise to see him begin Wednesday's afternoon contest on the bench. Reese McGuire will catch for the Red Sox.

Langeliers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Astros.

Langeliers joined the home run party with a seventh-inning blast for the team's fifth long ball of the night. The home run was his second since coming back from the All-Star break and his 19th of the year, as he's well on his way to surpassing his career-high mark of 22 he set last season. The 26-year-old is still having trouble hitting for average and may go a third consecutive season hitting under .220. Langeliers is currently slashing .211/.265/.441 with 53 RBI, 36 runs and a 21:94 BB:K in 332 plate appearances.

Caratini went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 8-2 loss to the Athletics.

Caratini put the Astros on the board in the third with a solo home run to right field off Osvaldo Bido. The long ball was his first hit since being activated off the injured list Monday after being out for just over a month with a strained left hip. The 30-year-old is slashing .257/.294/.459 with five homers, 18 RBI, 14 runs and a 5:16 BB:K in 119 plate appearances.

Jeffers is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Phillies.

Jeffers and Christian Vazquez continue to split playing time behind the plate for Minnesota. Jeffers went 2-for-5 with a double and a run in Monday's contest, and Vazquez will start Tuesday while batting ninth.

Jansen is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Tampa Bay.

Jansen will yield to Alejandro Kirk on Tuesday after going 0-for-8 with four strikeouts in back-to-back starts behind the dish. Jansen is slashing .214/.305/.375 with six homers and 27 runs across 220 plate appearances this season.

Wells is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets.

It's lefty Jose Quintana on the mound for the Mets, so the left-handed hitting Wells will sit in favor of righty Carlos Narvaez. Wells had started each of the previous six contests.

Naylor is absent from the starting nine for Tuesday's game against the Tigers.

Naylor will take a seat for a third consecutive contest, with David Fry batting fourth and catching for Tuesday's series opener. Naylor is 7-for-39 (.179) with two home runs, seven RBI and five runs during July.

Raleigh went 1-for-3 with an RBI single and a walk in a loss to the Angels on Monday.

Raleigh opened the scoring on the night with a first-inning single that plated J.P. Crawford (finger), a run that would turn out to be the only one for the Mariners. The 27-year-old snapped an 0-for-16, four-game skid that stretched back to the final game before the All-Star break with the timely knock, but he's now gone six straight contests without an extra-base hit.

Perez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Monday's 10-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Perez put the Royals ahead for good with his third-inning homer and added a sacrifice fly in the sixth. The catcher is batting .268 (15-for-56) with four homers and 14 RBI over 15 contests in July. For the year, he's been a reliable power bat in the heart of the lineup with a .279/.341/.475 slash line, 18 homers, 66 RBI, 41 runs scored and 16 doubles through 98 games.

O'Hoppe went 0-for-2, got hit by two pitches and stole a base in Monday's 3-1 win over the Mariners.

O'Hoppe has been plunked five times over his last 12 contests, and he's batting .286 (12-for-42) with a 1:10 BB:K in that span. The catcher took advantage of his times on base Monday, logging his second steal of the campaign on his fourth attempt. O'Hoppe is slashing .277/.333/.467 with 14 home runs, 42 RBI, 43 runs scored, 13 doubles and a triple over 86 games this season.
