Muncy went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and an additional RBI in a 10-3 win against the Twins on Tuesday.
Muncy connected on a solo shot off Minnesota starter Joe Ryan in the second inning and added an RBI double in the seventh to extend his hitting streak to a modest six games, coinciding with the start of August. During the stretch, the 31-year-old is slashing .375/.400/.875 with three home runs and doubles apiece in 24 at-bats and the successful week has upped Muncy's OPS from .613 to .665.

Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Five RBI on Tuesday
Riley went 3-for-6 with one triple, one homer, five RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 9-7 extra-innings win over the Red Sox.
The All-Star third baseman filled the stat sheet Tuesday with a home run, a triple, and five RBI. The home run was Riley's first since July 29, and the strong performance helped propel Atlanta to the victory over the Red Sox. Tuesday's effort bolsters Riley's MVP case, as he improved to an NL-leading 255 total bases on the season.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Continues power spike
McMahon went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Tuesday's 16-5 win over the Cardinals.
McMahon got absolutely all of his homer off Cardinals reliever T.J. McFarland in the seventh inning. The moonshot left the bat at 110.4 mph and went 495 feet. This was McMahon's third homer in his last five games, giving him 11 for the year. His slash line remains a pedestrian .242/.339/.397, and he's added 52 RBI, 43 runs scored and seven stolen bases through 106 contests. He's hit safely in all seven games in which he's recorded an at-bat in August.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Phillies' Jean Segura: Homers in win
Segura went 2-for-3 with one homer, one RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 4-1 victory over Miami.
Segura took a Braxton Garrett slider deep to left to extend the Phillies' lead to two in the fourth inning. The second baseman has now recorded hits in his last two games, a welcome sign after he began hitless in his first two games since returning from the IL. Segura appears to have returned to form and is poised to provide a strong batting average and meaningful counting stats the rest of the way hitting in the middle of the Philadelphia lineup.

Rodolfo Castro 2B | PHI
Pirates' Rodolfo Castro: Rejoins big-league club
Castro was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis and will start at second base Tuesday against the Diamondbacks.
The 23-year-old spent most of May in the majors and posted a .565 OPS in 78 plate appearances before being demoted in early June, and he'll return to the big club ahead of Tuesday's contest in Arizona. Castro should fill a utility role while up with the Pirates. Cal Mitchell was optioned to Indianapolis in a corresponding move.

Evan Longoria 3B | ARI
Giants' Evan Longoria: Left out of Tuesday's lineup
Longoria is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres, according to Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com.
Longoria returned to action Monday after missing two weeks with a hamstring injury, but he will be eased back into action and open Tuesday's game on the bench. Tommy La Stella will man the hot corner for the Giants and LaMonte Wade will serve as the designated hitter.

Nick Madrigal 3B | LAA
Cubs' Nick Madrigal: Heads to bench Tuesday
Madrigal is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals.
With starts at second base in four of the past five games, Madrigal looks to be the Cubs' preferred option at the position for the moment, though he'll need to sustain a good run of health and offensive production to keep his spot atop the depth chart. Christopher Morel will get the start at the keystone Tuesday at Madrigal's expense.

Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Reds' Mike Moustakas: Goes on IL with calf strain
The Reds placed Moustakas on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a left calf strain.
Moustakas was one of the three Reds that was either scratched from the lineup or lifted early in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Mets with an injury, and though Kyle Farmer (neck) and Jonathan India (hamstring) are back in action Tuesday, Moustakas wasn't as fortunate. He'll now be sidelined until at least Aug. 19 due to the calf issue, paving the way for Donovan Solano to take over as the Reds' primary designated hitter.

Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Brewers' Jace Peterson: Takes grounders Tuesday
Peterson (elbow) fielded groundballs Tuesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Peterson is making good progress in his recovery, and he said Tuesday that he is now "basically doing everything besides hitting." It remains to be seen when Peterson will be ready to take cuts again, but he will likely be out at least another couple weeks.
