Peraza went 1-for-1 with one RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 8-7 extra-innings loss to the Rockies.

Peraza didn't start the contest, but he ran for Anthony Rizzo in the ninth inning. This was Peraza's first major-league action since May 3, as he was called up to replace Josh Donaldson (calf) on the active roster. Peraza is slashing .212/.333/.242 with three steals, four RBI, four runs scored and a double over 39 plate appearances in the majors this season.

Bregman went 4-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's victory against the Angels.

Bregman's two-run blast in the ninth inning put the Astros back on top. He was stuck in a 7-for-46 (.152 average) rut over a 12-game span since his last homer June 29. After Sunday's big performance, Bregman's slash line moved back up to .246/.341/.398 with 27 extra-base hits and 58 RBI through 93 games.

Cabbage went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's loss to Houston.

Cabbage went 0-for-2 in his first two MLB appearances but broke through with a three-hit game Sunday. His first career hit was a single in the second inning followed by a two-run double in the fourth. Cabbage slashed .287/.358/.576 with 23 homers at the Triple-A level and could maintain regular playing time in MLB if his bat keeps pace.

Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a double in Sunday's 11-5 win over the Cubs.

Devers is 6-for-13 with three homers and two doubles in three games since the All-Star break, though that may be a product of facing Cubs pitching. The third baseman has five multi-hit efforts in 11 games in July, batting .395 (17-for-43) in that span. He's up to a .261/.330/.523 slash line with 23 homers, 73 RBI, 53 runs scored, two stolen bases and 22 doubles through 90 contests. He's added 22 points to his batting average since June 23, and that has led to overall improvements in his season-long production.

Miranda received a platelet-rich plasma injection in his injured right shoulder and will be shut down for at least a week before the Twins determine the next course of action, John Shipley of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

An MRI exam on Miranda's shoulder revealed an impingement. It sounds like he'll be out several more weeks as a result even in a best-case scenario.

Paredes went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Royals.

Paredes finally got the Rays on the scoreboard after swatting a home run to kick things off in the eighth. He's now up to four home runs across seven games in July thus far and sits second on the team and fourth among AL third basemen with 17 total. The 24-year-old is setting career-best batting numbers this year while in a near-everyday role, slashing .261/.364/.504 with 30 extra-base hits, 56 RBI, 43 runs and a 33:55 BB:K in 309 plate appearances.

Candelario (thumb) has been scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Cardinals, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

He was penciled in to return after suffering a bone bruise in his thumb Friday, but evidently Candelario's pregame work didn't go well. Ildemaro Vargas is now set for another start at third base while Candelario remains day-to-day ahead of Monday's series opener at Wrigley Field.

Peterson isn't in the Athletics' lineup Sunday against the Mariners.

Peterson has recorded hits in both of Oakland's games since the All-Star break and will get a day to rest Sunday. Aledmys Diaz will fill in at third base and bat seventh in Peterson's place.

Maton is starting at third base and batting seventh in Sunday's game against the Mariners.

Maton will return to the lineup after sitting out Saturday. He went 1-for-3 on Friday with a solo home run. Maton now has seven long balls but has mostly struggled this year with a .166 batting average and .594 OPS. The Tigers are lacking in reliable offensive threats, however, so Maton should still get an opportunity to turn things around at the plate.

Henderson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Marlins.

Henderson provided a game-tying blast in the seventh inning. He's hitting .267 with three homers and eight RBI over 11 games in July. The infielder is at a .245/.343/.460 slash line with 14 long balls, 38 RBI, 44 runs scored and five stolen bases through 81 contests. He's done enough to serve in an everyday role lately, which has included leadoff duties against right-handed pitchers.
