J.D. Davis 1B | LAA
Giants' J.D. Davis: Held out of Sunday's lineup
Davis (ankle) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Davis hasn't been in San Francisco's starting nine since Tuesday due to a low-grade ankle sprain, though he came off the bench Saturday and went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and an additional RBI. The 30-year-old is apparently still a bit banged up since he's sitting Sunday, but he should be able to rejoin the lineup within the next couple days.

Gunnar Henderson SS | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Scratched due to stomach flu
Orioles manager Brandon Hyde told reporters Sunday that Henderson was scratched from the lineup due to a stomach flu that is going through the clubhouse.
Henderson was slated to lead off against the Cubs on Sunday, but the rookie infielder was a late scratch from the lineup due to the illness. The Orioles have an off-day Monday before facing the Rays in Tampa Bay on Tuesday, and Henderson should be considered day-to-day for that upcoming contest.

Athletics' Jonah Bride: Sitting Sunday vs. Phillies
Bride is absent from the starting lineup for Sunday's game versus the Phillies.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Nationals' Jeimer Candelario: Scratched from Sunday's lineup
Candelario was scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Marlins due to soreness in his right thumb, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
Candelario was slated to start at third base Sunday, per usual, but he'll instead hit the bench with a thumb issue. The 29-year-old is expected to be available as a pinch hitter, so it doesn't appear to be a serious injury. Michael Chavis will shift to the hot corner while Dominic Smith, who was originally off Sunday, starts at first base.

Gunnar Henderson SS | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Scratched from lineup
Henderson was scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Cubs for an undisclosed reason.
Henderson was set to lead off and play third base in the series finale, but he's now out of the lineup with Ramon Urias lined up at third base and hitting sixth, while Austin Hays moves to the leadoff spot. The Orioles should provide clarity on why Henderson is out of the lineup shortly.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Blue Jays' Matt Chapman: Not starting Sunday
Chapman is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game versus the Rangers.
Chapman has appeared in 70 of Toronto's 72 games thus far this season, but the third baseman will get a day off for the series finale against Texas on Sunday. Santiago Espinal will take over at third base and hit seventh while Chapman rests.

Nick Madrigal 3B | LAA
Cubs' Nick Madrigal: Enters lineup Sunday
Madrigal is starting at third base and batting ninth in Sunday's game against the Orioles.
Madrigal sat Saturday with Miles Mastrobuoni getting the nod at the hot corner, but the former will take over Sunday. Patrick Wisdom (wrist) hit the injured list Saturday, so there is playing time available at third base, and Madrigal should be the top option there most days ahead of Mastrobuoni.
