Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Initial X-rays negative
Paredes underwent initial X-rays on Sunday that showed no fractures to his ribs, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Paredes exited Sunday's matchup against the Mariners following a collision at third base, and he's been diagnosed with left rib discomfort. It's encouraging that he doesn't appear to be dealing with structural damage, and he should tentatively be considered day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's series opener against the Phillies.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Homers in loss
McMahon went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 14-9 loss to the Tigers.
McMahon saw a five-game hitting streak end Saturday and nearly came up empty again Sunday if not for his eighth-inning blast. He went 11 games between homers, hitting a paltry .175 (7-for-40) with a 6:17 BB:K over that span. Despite the quiet stretch recently, he's been quite solid since mid-May. The infielder is up to 13 homers, 43 RBI, 45 runs scored, four stolen bases and a .263/.346/.477 slash line through 83 contests overall.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Nationals' Jeimer Candelario: Homers in win
Candelario went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and an additional run scored in Sunday's victory over the Phillies.
Candelario's 11th homer extended his hit streak to nine games -- he's gone 12-for-34 (.353) with three long balls in that span. It's been a solid bounce-back campaign for the 29-year-old Candelario. He's now slashing .264/.339/.475 with 39 RBI and 42 runs scored through 336 plate appearances.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Managing left rib discomfort
Paredes was diagnosed with left rib discomfort after exiting Sunday's game against the Mariners, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.
Paredes was removed from Sunday's matchup immediately after a collision on the basepaths in the bottom of the third inning. He appeared to be in considerable pain following the incident, but it's unclear whether he'll be forced to miss additional time. He'll have a day to rest before Tuesday's series opener against the Phillies.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Exits following collision
Paredes exited Sunday's game against the Mariners in the bottom of the third inning following a collision on the basepaths, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Paredes was attempting to field a grounder at third base when Ty France ran into him. Paredes remained down for a few moments and eventually went to the clubhouse with trainers. The exact nature and severity of his injury aren't yet clear, but he'll have at least one day to recover before Tuesday's series opener against Philadelphia.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Takes part in sprinting work
Moncada (back) was seen running at full speed in the outfield prior to Sunday's game against the Athletics, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The activity is another sign that Moncada is trending in the right direction as he works his way through the back issue that has bothered him off and on this season. Despite Moncada's increased involvement in on-field work, the White Sox aren't yet putting a timeline on his return from the 10-day injured list. Even if Moncada doesn't make it back before the All-Star break, he should still have a good chance at being ready to go when the White Sox open their second-half slate July 14.

Nick Madrigal 3B | LAA
Cubs' Nick Madrigal: Heads to bench Sunday
Madrigal is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
Madrigal started the past nine games and will receive a day off after he posted a .988 OPS during that stretch. Christopher Morel will man the hot corner while Trey Mancini serves as the designated hitter.

Eduardo Escobar 3B | TOR
Angels' Eduardo Escobar: Gets another look at keystone
Escobar will start at second base and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Escobar will stick in the lineup for the fourth time in five games, with the veteran having made two starts apiece at third base and second base. The latter position will likely represent Escobar's primary path to steady at-bats at least through the All-Star break, after Brandon Drury (shoulder) was moved to the 10-day injured list Sunday. Since being acquired from the Mets on June 23, Escobar has gone 6-for-21 with five runs and an RBI over his first six games with the Halos.

Emmanuel Rivera 3B | BAL
Diamondbacks' Emmanuel Rivera: Losing work to Longoria
Rivera is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
After Josh Rojas was demoted to Triple-A Reno on June 19, Rivera looked as though he might be a candidate to pick up everyday playing time, but he's now started just six times in 13 games since that date. Instead, Evan Longoria appears to have the edge on playing time at the hot corner for the time being.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Yankees' Josh Donaldson: Out of Sunday's lineup
Donaldson is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Donaldson started one game during Saturday's twin bill and went 0-for-4 with a strikeout. DJ LeMahieu will take over at the hot corner in Sunday's series finale.
