Lewis went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, a double and a walk in a 7-5 win against the Rangers on Thursday.

Lewis hit one of five homers for Minnesota in the contest, slugging a solo shot to left field in the sixth inning. The long ball was his second in as many days and his sixth overall this season. Since returning from the injured list Aug. 15, Lewis is batting .333 (10-for-30) with the two home runs, five RBI, four runs and a stolen base over eight games.

Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two stolen bases in a 6-1 loss to the Dodgers in Wednesday's suspended game.

Ramirez was about the only bright spot for the Guardians in the contest, which was suspended due to rain after two innings Wednesday before finishing Thursday. The third baseman then went 0-for-4 with a walk in the nightcap, ending the day at a .278/.350/.472 slash line through 122 contests overall. He's up to 19 home runs, 18 steals, 68 RBI and 72 runs scored, and he's gone 8-for-36 (.222) over nine games since returning from a suspension stemming from an incident versus the White Sox earlier in the month.

Peterson is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Reds.

Evan Longoria will start at third base and bat sixth as the Diamondbacks take on left-hander Brandon Williamson. Peterson has posted a weak .416 OPS in 54 plate appearances against southpaws this year between Oakland and Arizona.

Cincinnati recalled Senzel from Triple-A Louisville on Thursday.

Senzel has posted underwhelming numbers between the majors and minors this year, but the Reds need him as position player depth after losing Joey Votto (shoulder) to the injured list. The 28-year-old former top prospect seems doubtful to deliver meaningful fantasy production.

Kieboom is starting at third base and batting fifth Thursday versus the Yankees.

Jake Alu is poised to play more in left field with the Nationals losing Stone Garrett to a fractured left fibula Wednesday, which likely shifts Ildemaro Vargas into the bulk of starts at second base and opens up a lot of reps for Kieboom at third. The 25-year-old former top prospect hit a solo home run Tuesday off Carlos Rodon in his first major-league at-bat since 2021. He had posted a .789 OPS with five homers and 23 RBI in 34 games for Triple-A Rochester prior to his promotion.

Mead was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Thursday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Mead had posted an .823 OPS during a modest six-game hitting streak, but he hasn't been playing much. The Rays have elected to replace him on the roster with the more versatile Vidal Brujan.

Paredes went 1-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Rockies.

Getting the start at shortstop and batting cleanup against Austin Gomber, Paredes made good on the assignment by mashing a first-pitch fastball from the southpaw over the fence in left field to lead off the bottom of the sixth inning, his 25th homer of the season. The 24-year-old infielder has heated up again -- after beginning August in a 5-for-34 (.147) rut, Paredes is batting .342 (13-for-38) with 10 RBI over his last eight games.

McKinstry went 1-for-2 with a steal in Wednesday's 6-4 loss to the Cubs.

McKinstry drew a walk in two of his first three plate appearances but was left stranded on each occasion as the Tigers failed to keep pace with Chicago's offense. Then, down two runs in the bottom of the ninth, the right fielder added a single to advance Parker Meadows to third before stealing second base to put the tying run in scoring position. McKinstry has now hit safely in three straight games and in five of his last six, tallying two RBI and two runs scored over that latter stretch while also drawing four walks.

LeMahieu went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Wednesday in a 9-1 win over Washington.

Aaron Judge smashed three homers in the game to lead New York's offense, but LeMahieu made a contribution as well with his seventh-inning solo shot. The long ball snapped a streak of 20 games without a homer for LeMahieu, and it was just his second home run over his past 46 contests. Power has never been the biggest part of the veteran's game, and it's clear that the 26 long balls he hit in 2019 in his first season as a Yankee were an aberration. Since that campaign, LeMahieu has gone deep a modest 41 times over 429 games.

Hayes went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and double Wednesday against the Cardinals.

Hayes took Zack Thompson yard in the fifth inning to tally his ninth homer of the season. Four of his long balls have come in 18 games since he was activated from the injured list Aug. 2, and he's also tacked on six additional extra-base knocks. He has yet to attempt a stolen base since his return.
