Noelvi Marte 3B | CIN
Reds' Noelvi Marte: Not in Sunday's lineup
Marte is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.
Marte started the past three games and will receive a day off after going 3-for-13 with an RBI during that span. Christian Encarnacion-Strand will start at third base and bat fifth.

Zach McKinstry 3B | DET
Tigers' Zach McKinstry: Scores lone run Saturday
McKinstry went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Athletics.
McKinstry was the only Detroit player with multiple hits, and he had one of only two extra-base knocks for the team. The utility player often serves in a leadoff role, which he did Saturday, but the Tigers can struggle to put together much offense, as they're 29th in the majors in runs scored. That limits the upside of McKinstry and other Detroit hitters in run-producing spots.

Jared Triolo 3B | PIT
Pirates' Jared Triolo: Racks up four hits in victory
Triolo went 4-for-5 with a double and three runs in Saturday's 13-12 win against the Reds.
Triolo was a key contributor in the Pirates' comeback from a 9-0 deficit, as he notched a hit and scored a run in each of the sixth, seventh and eighth frames. The rookie infielder finished with the first four-hit game of his career and logged his fourth multi-hit performance over his past six contests. Over that span, he's batting .579 (11-for-19) with two homers, three doubles, three RBI and nine runs scored.

Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Reaches 10-steal mark
Henderson went 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Guardians.
The steal was Henderson's 10th of the season, and his first since he swiped two bags Aug. 28 versus the White Sox. The infielder continues to impress in September, batting .297 (30-for-101) with 15 extra-base hits over 22 contests this month. He's up to a .260/.329/.496 slash line with 27 home runs, 81 RBI, 98 runs scored, 28 doubles and nine triples through 143 games. Henderson continues to be a strong fit atop the Orioles' lineup and is a strong candidate to win AL Rookie of the Year.

Maikel Garcia 3B | KC
Royals' Maikel Garcia: Swipes bag in win
Garcia went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Astros.
Garcia has gotten going again at the plate, going 12-for-39 (.308) over his last 10 games while adding three steals in that span. The third baseman is up to 23 thefts in 29 attempts this season while primarily hitting out of the leadoff spot. He's at a .275/.325/.365 slash line with 49 RBI, 56 runs scored and four home runs through 118 contests overall.

Junior Caminero 3B | TB
Rays' Junior Caminero: Debuting as designated hitter
Caminero will bat fifth and serve as the designated hitter in his major-league debut Saturday against the Blue Jays, Steve Carney of StPeteNine.com reports.
Caminero was called up straight from Double-A on Friday and spent his first day on the roster watching from the bench. Whether that was a sign that we shouldn't expect to see him too often over the remainder of the season or merely an attempt to ease his transition to the highest level is not yet clear. The latter would seem to be more likely given that the Rays are confident installing him right in the middle of the order in his debut.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Not expected back in 2023
Angels manager Phil Nevin said Saturday that Rendon (lower leg) isn't expected to play again before the end of the season, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Rendon has been participating in baseball activities since early September as he recovers from a fractured tibia, but Nevin said Rendon hasn't progressed enough to be activated before the end of the year. Rendon will finish 2023 with a .236/.361/.318 slash line to go along with two homers and 22 RBI across 183 plate appearances.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Brewers' Josh Donaldson: Homers again in blowout win
Donaldson went 1-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's 16-1 win over the Marlins.
Donaldson kicked off the scoring in the Brewers' 12-run second inning, slugging a 371-foot, two-run blast off reliever Steven Okert. The home run was the second in as many games for Donaldson, who has provided Milwaukee with a much-needed power boost since joining the club earlier this month. While he's recorded only eight hits in 37 at-bats (.216) through 10 games, five of those hits have gone for extra bases (three home runs, two doubles).

Josh Jung 3B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Jung: Hit streak going since return
Jung went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Friday's 8-5 win over the Mariners.
Other than an elevated strikeout rate --- seven strikeouts in 18 at-bats -- Jung hasn't missed a beat following a thumb injury that cost him six weeks. The rookie third baseman has hit safely in all four games since returning earlier this week, going 7-for-18 with a double, a home run, three RBI and four runs scored.
