Longoria is not starting Wednesday against the Rockies, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Longoria missed the first six games of the season due to an oblique injury but started six in a row upon his return. He'll get a rest after posting an .892 OPS in those contests, with Donovan Solano sliding to third base and Wilmer Flores getting the start at second.

Urshela will sit for the first half of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Phillies.

The Yankees are able to rest several players given the expanded rosters this season. Miguel Andujar starts at the hot corner for Game 1 of the doubleheader, but there's a good chance Urshela will be in the lineup for Game 2.

Donaldson (calf) will sit for the fifth straight game Wednesday against the PIrates.

Donaldson has been on the shelf with right calf tightness since leaving Friday's game against Cleveland due to the injury. The issue is apparently not too serious, but the veteran has had calf issues in the past, and the Twins can afford to be quite cautious due to the expanded playoffs and their 9-2 start. Ehire Adrianza will be the third baseman in this one, with Marwin Gonzalez shifting over to first base.

Muncy went 0-for-2 with three walks in Tuesday's win over San Diego.

Muncy has fallen into a slump over his last four games, going 1-for-14 over that span. However, the 29-year-old has continued to demonstrate a good eye at the plate this season, leading Los Angeles -- and tying for seventh in the league -- with nine walks.

Bregman went 1-for-5 in Tuesday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Bregman didn't have a standout performance Tuesday, but he managed to extend his hitting streak to four games. He has gone 5-for-20 (.250) with one home run, one double, two RBI and two runs scored during that stretch.

Riley went 1-for-3 with two walks and a three-run home run in Tuesday's 10-1 rout of the Blue Jays.

His fifth-inning blast chased Matt Shoemaker from the game. Riley's second stint in the majors has gone much the way his first one did in 2019 -- while he's flashing his power with two homers and a double through nine games, he isn't making much other contact and is hitting .138 (4-for-29) with 11 strikeouts.

Suarez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a strikeout in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to Cleveland.

Suarez looked mostly lost at the plate early on, but he now has two extra-base hits in his last three games and is finally on the board with his first long ball. He hit 49 homers a year ago and it was only a matter of time before he got going. We're nearly 20 percent of the way through the season already; Suarez has 49 games left to dig out of his early hole.

Arenado went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Tuesday's win over San Francisco.

After failing to hit a home run through his first eight games of the campaign, Arenado has now left the yard in each of the last two contests. He took Kevin Gausman deep in the sixth inning Tuesday to extend Colorado's one-run lead. Arenado remains one of the premier third basemen in the league, though he has gotten off to a slow start at the plate in 2020, slashing .243/.326/.405 with four RBI and five walks through 10 games.

Chapman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Rangers.

Chapman lifted his second homer of the year against Rangers starter Lance Lynn in the seventh inning. The third baseman then got aboard with a single and scored on Stephen Piscotty's walk-off grand slam in the ninth. Chapman has posted four RBI and five runs scored with a .222/.255/.422 triple-slash line in 11 games this year, but it appears he's heating up with hits in three straight contests.

Madrigal exited Tuesday's game against the Brewers with a left shoulder injury.

The 23-year-old was thrown out attempting to go first-to-third on a single up the middle during the third inning, and his left arm was jammed awkwardly into the ground on his feet-first slide. Madrigal will be further examined Wednesday and should be considered day-to-day until more is known on the injury.
