Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Ends four-game hitless streak
Hayes went 1-for-3 with one RBI, a walk and two runs scored Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.
Hayes has struggled at the plate for most of the season and that hasn't changed recently, as he entered Wednesday's game hitless in his last four starts. Garcia went 2-for-4 with one run scored in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Reds.
Garcia extended his hitting streak to 13 games, and it was the sixth time during this stretch that he recorded multiple knocks. Over his last 50 at-bats, the speedy infielder is hitting a scorching .380 with one homer, four doubles, eight RBI and six runs scored. Garcia has 10 extra-base hits, 15 RBI, and six stolen bases in the month of May as he's turned himself into a key contributor for Kansas City.

Angels' Yoan Moncada: Pulled with knee soreness
Moncada was removed from Wednesday's game against the Yankees with right knee soreness.
The severity of Moncada's injury remains unknown, but the Angels will likely have more information on his status once they take a closer look at him. Kevin Newman entered as Moncada's replacement at third base in the sixth inning and could be in line to start at the hot corner if the 30-year-old is unable to play against the Guardians on Friday.

Caleb Durbin 3B | MIL
Brewers' Caleb Durbin: Plays hero in three-RBI day
Durbin went 2-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI in Wednesday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Red Sox.
The rookie infielder had multiple extra-base hits in the same game for the first time in his career, but it was Durbin's walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th inning that was the decisive blow. After a 4-for-45 (.089) slump to begin the month of May, Durbin seems to be finding his groove, going 11-for-36 (.306) over the last 10 games with five doubles, three steals, four runs and eight RBI.

Diamondbacks' Nicky Lopez: Links up with Arizona
Lopez agreed to a minor-league contract with the Diamondbacks on Wednesday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
The veteran infielder was let go by the Cubs last week, and it didn't take long for him to latch on with a new team. Lopez has gone 1-for-24 in 19 games between the Cubs and Angels this season and isn't likely to be a significant contributor even if he's added to the Diamondbacks' big-league roster.

Angels' Yoan Moncada: Hits homer in ninth frame Tuesday
Moncada went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Yankees on Tuesday.

Moncada continues to work as the Angels' primary third baseman, and despite a .222 batting average, he's done some positive things at the plate, including recording five homers and 18 RBI along with a 12.6 percent walk rate over 27 contests.
