Cabbage is expected to miss 3-to-4 months after he was diagnosed with a fractured left forearm, which he suffered Friday in a game for Double-A Rocket City, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Before picking up the injury, Cabbage slashed .327/.434/.664 with 10 home runs and 10 stolen bases over 136 plate appearances. His projected recovery timeline puts him in danger of missing the rest of the season.

Escobar went 4-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday's 13-12 loss to the Giants.

On a night when the Mets and Giants combined for 37 hits, Escobar's four knocks tied Joc Pederson for the game-high total. After hitting .147 through the first three weeks of May, Escobar has caught fire with six hits in 10 plate appearances for the first two games of the series in San Francisco.

Pirates director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk said Wednesday that Newman (groin/hamstring) hasn't yet resumed baseball activities, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.

Newman suffered a hamstring-related setback during a rehab assignment at Triple-A Indianapolis on Friday, and he was transferred to the 60-day injured list Monday. The 28-year-old isn't eligible to return until at least late June following Monday's transaction, and he's received treatment since suffering his setback. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to resume baseball activities.

Bregman went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI on Tuesday against the Guardians.

Bregman made the most of his lone hit by delivering a two-RBI double in the third inning. He's had a productive three-game stretch, collecting three extra-base hits, four RBI and two runs scored. Overall, Bregman is hitting .230/.346/.426 across 179 plate appearances.

Castro went 1-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base Tuesday against Colorado.

Castro reached base three times as he was also hit by a pitch. He stole his second base of the season in the ninth inning while pushing himself into scoring position. Castro has been Pittsburgh's primary shortstop since being recalled May 12 and has maintained a .211/.302/.263 line across 43 plate appearances. He has been particularly aggressive on the basepaths, as he has also been caught stealing on two occasions.

McMahon went 1-for-4 with an RBI on Tuesday against Pittsburgh.

McMahon tied the game with a two-out single in the eighth inning and recorded his 22nd RBI of the campaign. He's put together a solid .253/.341/.400 line across 170 plate appearances, though nearly all of his production has come in Colorado. In 64 plate appearances on the road, McMahon has collected only one extra-base hit and has a .282 wOBA.

Devers went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 16-3 win over the White Sox.

Devers keeps mashing with no sign of slowing down. He's hit safely in 37 of 42 games and is tied for the league lead with 26 extra-base hits. He ranks sixth in average (.337), fifth in slugging (.606) and seventh in OPS (.972).

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and two RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Astros.

The third baseman took Framber Valdez deep in the first inning before adding a double and an RBI groundout later in the contest. The long ball was Ramirez's 11th of the year, and he's homered in back-to-back games and four times in his last seven contests. Over that stretch, the 29-year-old has batted .296 with four home runs, 11 RBI, five runs and a stolen base. He's now batting .293 with 11 homers, 24 runs, three stolen bases and an MLB-high 43 RBI over 147 at-bats in 39 games this season.

Urshela went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday's victory over the Tigers.

Urshela notched an RBI single off Beau Brieske in the bottom of the second inning, driving in Max Kepler. He later added two more singles, notching his second multi-hit contest of the month and first since May 14. The third baseman has secured at least one hit in five of his last six games, batting .438 with five RBI in those contests. If he can maintain this level of production moving forward, he could see himself reinstated closer to the top of the batting order later this season.

LeMahieu (wrist) had an MRI come back clean and received a cortisone injection Tuesday, and he is expected back in the lineup within a day or two, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

The veteran infielder was scratched from Tuesday's lineup due to left wrist discomfort, and the team didn't waste any time getting him treatment for the injury. LeMahieu seems unlikely to be available for Wednesday's series finale versus Baltimore, but he could return to action during the upcoming four-game set in Tampa Bay, which begins Thursday.
