  • Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY

Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Third straight multi-hit game

McMahon went 3-for-5 with a double, three RBI and three runs Sunday in the Rockies' 14-13 loss to the Padres.

McMahon was one of several Rockies to post gaudy box-score numbers during a series in which the two clubs combined to tally 92 runs, a modern-era record for a four-game set. He started in each of those contests, going 9-for-19 with four RBI and three runs. With Garrett Hampson now back in the minors, the Rockies are without a true righty-hitting backup at second base, so McMahon looks like he'll be a full-time regular in the lineup for the time being rather than a large-side platoon player.

  • Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL

Braves' Josh Donaldson: Homers in third straight

Donaldson went 3-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run in Sunday's rout of the Phillies.

He's now homered in three straight games and four of the last six. Donaldson has boosted his slash line to .252/.360/.471 with the hot streak, and if the 33-year-old can stay healthy he could be headed for a big summer.

  • Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA

Nationals' Anthony Rendon: Power surge continues

Rendon went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and two additional runs scored in Sunday's rout of the Diamondbacks.

The long ball was his 16th of the year and fifth in the last seven games. Rendon is slashing .340/.400/.698 so far in June as he marches toward a career-best season and a big payday in free agency.

  • Kevin Newman 3B | LAA

Pirates' Kevin Newman: Steals fourth bag

Newman went 3-for-5 with a stolen base in a 5-4 victory against the Marlins on Sunday.

The 25-year-old is flourishing in the leadoff spot. He's currently on a seven-game hitting streak; during that stretch, his average has risen 20 points, and he's swiped three bags. Newman isn't hitting for much power, but he can supply average and the occasional stolen base to owners as long as he remains in the leadoff spot. Newman is batting .315 with 12 extra-base hits, 19 RBI, 15 runs and four stolen bases in 149 at-bats this season.

  • Nick Senzel 3B | LAD

Reds' Nick Senzel: Not starting Sunday

Senzel (eye) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Senzel will receive some extra time to heal after requiring a few stitches to seal a gash on his left eyelid when he took a foul ball to the face in Saturday's 4-3 loss, resulting in his early departure. With Senzel on the bench, Jesse Winker will shift over to center field while filling Senzel's usual duties as the Reds' leadoff man.

  • Padres' Manny Machado: Ejected from Saturday's contest

Machado was ejected from Saturday's 14-8 loss to the Rockies in the fifth inning after arguing balls and strikes.

He was having another big game, going 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored before getting tossed, so this was a minor blow to anyone who had rostered Machado in DFS as part of a Coors Field stack. It's still his third straight multi-hit effort at altitude, and the hot streak has pushed his slash line up to .261/.342/.451 on the year.

  • Austin Riley 3B | ATL

Braves' Austin Riley: Cranks 11th homer

Riley went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Phillies.

After a slow patch to begin June, Riley is heating up again, hitting .368 (7-for-19) over his last five games with a double, a triple, two homers, five RBI and six runs. The rookie now has 26 homers on the season -- 15 for Triple-A Gwinnett prior to his promotion, and 11 in 29 games for Atlanta.

  • Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL

Braves' Josh Donaldson: Goes yard again

Donaldson went 3-for-4 with a double and a three-run home run in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Phillies.

The 33-year-old has hit safely in five straight games and gone yard in three of them, giving Donaldson 11 homers and 31 RBI on the year in 67 contests to go with his .244/.353/.450 slash line. His MVP days are well behind him, but he's still capable of supplying solid offensive numbers from the hot corner.

  • Nick Senzel 3B | LAD

Reds' Nick Senzel: Receives stitches on left eyelid

Senzel received three or four stitches on his left eyelid after exiting Saturday's game against the Rangers, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Senzel had a foul ball bounce off his foot and hit him on the left eye Saturday, forcing him to leave the game during the middle of the at-bat. The 23-year-old is dealing with some swelling but looks as though he avoided a serious injury. Manager David Bell was unsure whether Senzel would be available for Sunday's series finale.

  • J.D. Davis 1B | LAA

Mets' J.D. Davis: Pounds out four hits

Davis went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, a double, and three runs scored in an 8-7 win over the Cardinals on Saturday.

Davis received the starting nod Saturday after coming off the bench the last two games and ended up finishing a triple short of the cycle. The 26-year-old hasn't been the everyday lineup fixture that he once was with the recent emergence of Dominic Smith and the return of Jeff McNeil (hamstring), but he should still at least see occasional starting chances in a utility role.
