Nick Madrigal 2B | LAA
Cubs' Nick Madrigal: Scratched from rehab game
Madrigal (hamstring) was scratched from the lineup for Triple-A Iowa on Sunday due to "general lower body fatigue," Patrick Mooney of The Athletic reports.
The lower-body issue doesn't sound like anything particularly worrisome, though it'll presumably end up pushing back Madrigal's return from the 10-day injured list while he works his way back from a strained right hamstring. Whenever Madrigal is cleared to rejoin the Cubs, he'll likely be ticketed for a reserve role now that Chicago has all its other key position players healthy again.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Slugs grand slam in loss
Muncy went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Rangers.
Muncy helped the Dodgers cash in a productive first inning against Texas starter Martin Perez. While Muncy hit a grand slam for his third homer in four games, he also struck out three times Sunday. The infielder continues to supply power with little other contact -- he's slashing .196/.327/.477 with 24 homers, 63 RBI, 57 runs scored and a stolen base while also striking out at a career-worst 27.8 percent rate through 81 games.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Good to go Sunday
Arenado (leg) is starting at third base and batting third Sunday against the Cubs, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
Arenado was pulled from Saturday's contest with left leg stiffness after he fouled a pitch off himself, but the issue won't keep him out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale. The 32-year-old is in the midst of a six-game hit streak and has a .375/.407/.583 slash line with 12 RBI during that span.

Emmanuel Rivera 3B | BAL
Diamondbacks' Emmanuel Rivera: Sitting out Sunday
Rivera is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.
Rivera will take a seat after he started each of the past three games at third base while going 2-for-9 with a solo home run and a walk. Evan Longoria will spell him at third base.

Edmundo Sosa LF | PHI
Phillies' Edmundo Sosa: Out of Sunday's lineup
Sosa is not in the lineup for Sunday's game at Cleveland.
Sosa leads the Phillies with 51 starts at third base this season, but he'll likely see that playing time drop now that Bryce Harper is seeing action at first base. That's the case Sunday, with Alec Bohm moving to the hot corner while batting seventh.

Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Homers in fifth straight game
Riley went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in a loss to the Brewers on Saturday.
All of Atlanta's scoring in the contest came as a result of Riley's three-run blast in the third inning. The third baseman has been on a remarkable run, going deep in five straight contests and compiling six long balls along with 16 RBI during that span. The power surge has pushed Riley to 22 homers (ninth-most in the NL) and 61 RBI (tied for 10th-most in the NL) on the campaign.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Exited with leg stiffness
Arenado was removed from Saturday's loss to the Cubs after fouling a ball off his lower left leg, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
That explains why the Cardinals brought in Brendan Donovan to hit for Arenado in the top of the ninth inning. The star third baseman downplayed the issue after the game, saying his leg just stiffened up a bit during a seventh-inning rain delay. He could be available for Sunday's series finale at Wrigley Field.
