Reds' Noelvi Marte: Not in Sunday's lineup
Marte is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Jared Triolo 3B | PIT
Pirates' Jared Triolo: Racks up four hits in victory
Triolo went 4-for-5 with a double and three runs in Saturday's 13-12 win against the Reds.
Triolo was a key contributor in the Pirates' comeback from a 9-0 deficit, as he notched a hit and scored a run in each of the sixth, seventh and eighth frames. The rookie infielder finished with the first four-hit game of his career and logged his fourth multi-hit performance over his past six contests. Over that span, he's batting .579 (11-for-19) with two homers, three doubles, three RBI and nine runs scored.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Brewers' Josh Donaldson: Homers again in blowout win
Donaldson went 1-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's 16-1 win over the Marlins.
Donaldson kicked off the scoring in the Brewers' 12-run second inning, slugging a 371-foot, two-run blast off reliever Steven Okert. The home run was the second in as many games for Donaldson, who has provided Milwaukee with a much-needed power boost since joining the club earlier this month. While he's recorded only eight hits in 37 at-bats (.216) through 10 games, five of those hits have gone for extra bases (three home runs, two doubles).

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Powers offense Friday
Machado went 4-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Friday's 4-2 win over the Cardinals.
Machado twice put the Padres ahead, launching a solo shot in the sixth inning and a two-run blast in the eighth. The third baseman now has five long balls over 15 games in September, giving him 30 homers for the second consecutive season. It's also the seventh time he's reached that mark in his career. He's added a .253/.316/.465 slash line, 87 RBI, 75 runs scored and three stolen bases through 134 contests. Machado continues to be locked in at designated hitter due to an elbow injury that is likely to need offseason surgery, but he'll probably remain in the Padres' lineup at least until they're mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Racks up four RBI
Riley went 2-for-3 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Nationals.
Riley blasted a 434-foot, two-run moonshot off Patrick Corbin in the first inning. That wasn't his only production of the night though, as the Atlanta third baseman added two sacrifice flies later in the game. Riley sports a .281/.343/.516 slash line with 37 homers, three steals, 110 runs and 96 RBI this season. The home run total is one off his career high of 38, set last season.

Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Stays hot with homer
Hayes went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 7-5 win over Cincinnati.
Hayes went yard off Reds left-hander Andrew Abbott in the top of the fourth inning before adding a single in the top of the seventh. It was the fourth straight multi-hit game for the 26-year-old third baseman, who has slashed .329/.357/.595 across 83 plate appearances in September while lifting his season OPS to .786.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Sitting versus lefty
Muncy is absent from the lineup Friday against the Giants.
Enrique Hernandez will start at third base and bat seventh as the Dodgers take on left-hander Sean Manaea. Muncy carries a .650 OPS in 166 plate appearances this year versus lefties, compared to a stellar .903 OPS in 375 plate appearances versus righties.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Shut down with back spasms
The Cardinals placed Arenado on the 10-day injured list Friday with lower-back spasms.
This will wind up being a season-ending issue for the 32-year-old third baseman, who finishes with a .266/.315/.459 slash line, 26 home runs, 26 doubles and 93 RBI in 144 games. Jose Fermin, Juniel Querecuto and Irving Lopez are available to fill in at the hot corner over the Cardinals' final nine games.

Jake Burger 3B | TEX
Marlins' Jake Burger: In lineup Friday
Burger (quad) is in the lineup for the Marlins' series opener versus the Brewers on Friday.
Burger had to be removed from Wednesday's contest against the Mets with right quad tightness, but he won't have to miss any starts after getting an off day Thursday to recover. The slugger is playing third base and batting fifth for the Marlins on Friday.

J.D. Davis 1B | LAA
Giants' J.D. Davis: Not in Thursday's lineup
Davis isn't starting Thursday against the Dodgers, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
After going 2-for-11 with an RBI and three runs scored across his last four games, Davis will get a day to rest Thursday. His absence will allow Wilmer Flores to start at third base and bat second.
